Extra SelectMini Fat Dumplings In Bucket 1 x 50 NO NETS

Always eaten by the end of the day.

My birds love them...they go faster than any other brand, so I am mystified by so many negative comments. I put out fifteen balls every night during the breeding and fledgling season, along with lots of other things, and by 9:30 the next morning all fifteen balls have been eaten! My only problem is that I cannot afford to keep up with the demand and also that all my local supermarkets sell out of them too fast. I notice that both small and large birds cluster around them. In fact I have found all the Extra Select products have extra special bird-appeal. However, I have never bought from this particular retailer...

I have bought quite a few bird food products from this company and always, so far, been pleased with the quality.Not so these fat balls. The balls are bulked out with a very significant proportion of chaff/grain husk. There is some grain, and other nutritious components, over and above the suet, but far, far too much useless filler. The birds have quite literally voted with their feet and after a brief inspection utterly ignored them. Can't say I blame them. A disappointing waste of money.

I totally agree with the previous reviewer and would never buy these again. Had them on subscription but have cancelled. The bucket that has just arrived was crushed and split and the cardboard box it came in is full of useless 'chaff' which will do the birds no good whatsoever.
