This cleans tarnish very well. The rubber feet have fallen off and I threw the first ones away not knowing what I was finding around the house. Still works fine with no feet.

I bought this because while I was at a Pandora store I realized the workers there didn’t use the stores brand of cleaner to clean your jewelry when you bring it in. I asked my sales gal about it and she showed me this cleaner. It does an outstanding job on my silver jewelry. I tried it on my white gold and diamond wedding rings and it just did ok. I found those sparkle more with a dip style cleaner. But for the silver this is the best I have found.

If you have tarnished silver, you need this product. I don't know of any other cleaning solution or machine that removes tarnish from silver effectively. This machine works on gold as well. The instructions say not to use on copper or brass, but for gold and silver, you need this machine!The only complaint I have is that it says to put silver in for only 20 seconds, but the cycle runs for 50 seconds and there is not way to interrupt the cycle. I usually count to 30 and toss it in at the 30 second mark, because I don't want to try to remove it mid-cycle when there is electricity and liquid involved lol

Very effective cleaner. It cleans gold, platinum, diamonds, and silver jewelries, remove tarnish and make them shine. I wish I had bought the larger size that I can clean my glasses too.

Thickness and sheerness don't apply. This is the best jewelry cleaner ever made. Not only does it clean stones but it also cleans gold. Did you know gold, even 14K can become tarnished? The ionic cleaner even cleans GOLD and SILVER. It will even clean fragile opals as long as YOU DO NOT LET THEM SOAK AND ONLY RUN FOR ONE (1) CYCLE! And don't do it every day. Pearl rings can be cleaned if you are just as careful but DO NOT CLEAN STRANDS OF PEARLS because you may end up with dirty cord. And I don't work for or have any stock in the company. Follow directions for diluting the cleaning solution and change it when it looks dirty. Clean jewelry looks bigger! Never put your silver jewelry in "Dip It" that smell is a chemical reaction and not good for the silver!

I've had two ultrasonic cleaners in the past and thought I'd save some money going with ionic. But, the ionic cleaner isn't any better than those $10 jewelry cleaning jars with a basket and brush available at department stores and they're a lot more money! It seems to clean no better than those $10 jars on my round or oval stones (not fancy cut diamonds). But, I have trillions in my setting and they are considered "fancy cut" and are harder to keep clean. My trillions come out looking hazy and cloudy as if I've never cleaned them. Fancy cut stones really need the vibration of an ultrasonic cleaner to get clean. I can still use a brush from those jars after an ionic cycle, but my fancy cut stones really still look hazy and cloudy. I would save your money and buy a jar cleaner if you have a round or oval stone or look into ultrasonic if you have a fancy cut stone. Don't waste your money on this! And, the solution really smells. If I leave the solution in the tub for a next cleaning, my whole closet smells like an old sponge that's gone bad.

Then she told me about this little gem and it works miracles. It’s safe for almost every metal and many gems. I even clean my pearls in this magic cleaner. Comes with a great cleaning liquid and perfectly easy instructions . Follow the directions!!! You’ll be so happy you did.
