Just what I hoped for. Feels sturdy and looks great. The leather has a nice color and even finish.

This turned put to be a bit larger than I needed, but does easily store plenty of nightstand items. No, it’s not real leather, it’s PU, a man made coating over another fabric, with a soft, suede-style interior fabric. That didn’t bother me. It looks attractive enough. That said, the real problem was the snaps attaching the corners. Two of them were nearly impossible to fasten. I finally gave up and asked my husband to try. He’s a big guy, but had to use a compression tool (okay, pliers and a soft rag) with a lot of force, to accomplish it. I almost sent this back, but once assembled, the snap-in compartment holds my glasses perfectly, keeping them away from watches, cellphone & sharp objects. Four stars for that.However, if I’d intended to use this for traveling (who wants to put their personal items on a hotel nightstand?) it would have gone back immediately, as we don’t usually travel with pliers.Objectively, it serves its purpose. Maybe I just got a defective one, but not worth the trouble to send back and hope the next one is better.

It does its purpose, however, I was surprised at how flimsy it is. Once you snap it together it’s not as bad, but still just doesn’t seem to be as described or what I felt it would be like compared to the description and the pictures. It’s also not as deep as I thought it would be once snapped together. It’s not bad enough that I feel the need to return it, however, it’s not quite as good as my expectations for it were.

This tray is a classy looking item yet very affordable. I chose this one in particular because the "felt" interior is soft and doesn't show scratch marks from keys, coins, etc. The divider is also great to separately store sunglasses and keep them protected.Surprised my boyfriend with this tray and he loves it! This is one of those gifts that is functional, looks great in the home, and will be used forever! Triple threat for sure!

Bought for my husband as he is always leaving his keys, glasses, wallet, pens, notebook, mints, change, etc on the table. This is perfect to hold it all and the divider keeps his glasses safe from damage from the loose change and keys, etc. Liked it so much bought another for our nephew for Christmas.

I should have read the description closer. In some places it says material is “leather” in others it states it’s “PU”. This tray looks super cheap, very thin and looks like basically just a piece of painted cardboard. My mistake for reading the “leather” in the title to mean actual leather. This is not worth the price. For about $5 more you can purchase the same thing but in real leather.

This will end up working, but I am really bummed and was looking for a leather one. the details say this is leather, but its easy to tell once you get it that its some type of fake leather over cardboard or some other thick material. It will work, but I really wish that the details would have stated that this wasn't real leather.

Wanted to get my husband a Valet for the entry table where he can drop off keys, wallet, phone, change, glasses, etc. This is perfect! He loves the sections. He can safely leave his glasses in one side and the keys/wallet on the other without fear of his lenses getting scratched. Lg. side fits his CCW nicely as well. I love that it looks classy and blends well with our decor... would recommend!

This is an attractive, large and useful leather valet. I use it to keep my bedside table neat and tidy, with essential items close to hand.The entire tray arrives flat. There are pairs of riveted poppers in each of the four corners which pop together to create the sides of the valet, and give it its traditional shape and appearance. The central divider too is held in place by poppers and is therefore easily removable, should you wish to have one large tray. I prefer having two sections, which are roughly divide the base in a ratio of one third and then two thirds.The interior, both sides and base, are covered in a thin layer of suede like material which I’ve found to be hard wearing and resistant to dust. As it’s simple to dismantle the tray and remove the divider, brushing out any dust or crumbs from the interior is quick and easy. The same speedy compactability, means the tray would comfortably fit into a suitcase or overnight bag, should you wish to take it away with you.The external leather is a pleasant dark brown and is glossier than matt but not of a high polish. The stitching is clearly machined but very neat and looks unlikely to unravel.The dimensions are 7.87 x 9.44 x 1.96 inches which allows me to store a couple of watches, some pens, a small notepad, a torch, my glasses, a penknife and my wallet with room to spare.There are only two small negatives.First the leather is not “real leather” but polyurethane treated. However at this price point, one should not expect high quality leathers and this valet looks much more expensive than it actually is. Second, the central divider has a tendency to not sit level in the bottom of the tray; it can tip up unevenly. This can be corrected by swivelling it on its pivots but it is easily knocked. That’s a very minor niggle indeed.I’ve had mine for six months and been really pleased with it.

It's a nice pocket dump tray for my office desk. I bought another for home. Saves all my stuff being distributed around the house
