a spot of dirt anyone?
reminds me of eating dirt as a kid. Smell is very earthy and the taste is complicated. Not my cup of tea, so why give it five stars? I respect this tea and this company. Have you ever tried 35 year old Pu-erh tea? I have, thanks to Tealyra. I've had other teas from this company and they do an outstanding job. From their website to their packaging and pricing, they make the tea experience the best it can be. They have herbal teas that are all natural and most of them organic. They also have delicious yellow and white teas super high in antioxidants. Did I mention their matcha and green teas are one of kind? They have authentic tea accessories and veggie teas to boot. I'm not a salesman for this company, but if I were I'd go broke because I would spend my paychecks trying their galaxy of teas!

not as strong as I would like
the tea arrived quickly. packaging was as described. I was a little disappointed in the flavor/strength. I realize that this is 35 years old and gets mellower with age. but I was a little to weak for me. I like Pu erh for the earthy flavor and this didn't have as much as I like. Next time I will not order one so aged. but still a good package, the tea was leafs were dry and loose packed. Value for the money I would say is avg.

Wonderful tea.
The product arrived quickly and was exactly as described. The tea is very high quality and vacuum packed for freshness. The leaves are very intact (not powdery) and 1 tsp brews a full-bodied, deep auburn-colored cup of tea with no bitterness. I bought it for the health benefits, and am also enjoying the flavor and experience of brewing and drinking this rare tea!

Highly recommend.
I'm a bit of a tea snob and must say this is a nice pu-erh. It's earthy and bright. If you like pu-erh, try it out.
