Great on drywall
I always thought these sanding blocks were another of the million gimmicks you find in the Paint Dept. at your local big box store. Then I saw a YT vid by Vancouver Carpenter, who recommended them. So I tried them.Actually, they are way better than wrapping sandpaper around a block of scrap wood! They fit well in my hand. The beveled edge on one side made sanding corners MUCH easier, for two reasons:1. Thin edge gets all the way into corners;2. Thin edge allows a lot of control with finger pressure. They were surprisingly durable. I'm now using both the medium and fine grit versions. This box of 6 is an economical choice, working out to about $2.50 USD each, instead of $5 to $6 individually.I hope that's helpful for someone. Make some dust. Be well.

I usually use the square sponges with a medium grit on one side and fine on the other
I use quite a lot of these sanding sponges in flipping houses. For most seams in the field i prefer a sanding pole for all but the last coats. I usually use the square sponges with a medium grit on one side and fine on the other, helps me cope when i have someone else help do finishing but in the corners these angles sponges let me sand one side of a corner without touching the other. if you're finishing right, the fine sanding sponge is all you need.Thats for drywall, these are also great for wood working where there may be small groves that you need to conform to that a solid sanding block wont flex into.

Each sponge only lasts about 1-2 minutes of sanding, garbage.
I normally use the 3M pro grade sponges and they last about 1-2 hours or more of sanding each. I'm not sure if these are fake, or it's the difference between the pro and non-pro versions, but these are total garbage. 6 of these doesn't even last as long as one 3M pro sponge but costs more. Just get the pro grade ones.

Different/ poorer quality than previous purchase
I love these 3M sanding sponges. The one I bought at Home Depot has lasted through a whole other project and then more sanding on this new project. I decided to buy more off Amazon but these are an inferior product. You can see in my picture that the edge of the old one is still holding up after numerous hours sanding, and the new one from Amazon is falling apart after less than one hour sanding. Pretty disappointed with these new ones.

A staple in my repair arsenal
These sponges are my absolute favorite to keep on hand for random projects. I have been mostly using them for sanding drywall repairs and trim filler. Great quality and very versatile. I like to make sure I have an extra set handy if I ever need a nice sanding sponge. I don’t know why “sheerness” is a rating for these, it’s a sanding sponge... but anyway, can’t recommend these enough! They stand up to a lot and last a long time!

Didn’t last very long
I bought a bunch of sanding blocks at Home Depot or one of those stores. They are purple. I’ve had those thinks for a really long time. Just rinse and reuse. These crumbled after a small amount of sanding. I got the job done but had to use all 6. Really shocked these are 3M. Not sure if there is any chance they are fake but I won’t buy that brand again for sure.

Sent Med instead of Fine :/
I love these for sanding drywall- have ordered multiple times. For some reason this time they sent two three packs of MEDIUM grit instead of the FINE advertised. I am in the middle of a project so will make due and order some single FINE sponges separately 🙄

Saved LOTS of Time.
Used these on a cabinet repainting job. Because of the glass and angles these units made sanding so much easier. Love the angle to use around the edges.
