Severe psychological child abuse often ignored by alleged experts and courts
As well as its older brother "an attachment-based model of parental alienation" of the same author from the year 2015 this book deals with a topic often hushed up in some countries, the problem of divorce families in the presence of personality disorders. In the vast majority of countries the refusal of a child to see the abandoned parent after parental divorce is seen as an expression of a severe psychological child abuse by the caring parent, apart from the effects on the rejected parent. Childress describes the child`s role-reversal use as a “regulatory object” by a narcissistic/(borderline) supposedly ”allied” parent in these cases. However, last in 2016, for example the highest court of the Federal Republic of Germany even ruled on the exclusion of the abandoned parent from any visits the child having declared such a will. Even an influenced wish can be considerable, according to the court, a decision fitting well into a social environment having caused the "largest psychosocial mass catastrophe" (Katterle) of the FRG. This book of Childress like his others is an important book of an utmost competent author which may help to overcome such unspeakable legal situations in the best interest of child`s welfare.

Buy the book- it’s worth it.
He’s helped many families- but if dies cost 10k for a 50 page report which does make this a privilege for those who can pay. His book does at least prepare you for a different perspective. I personally wish I could afford his services as it would make all the difference in the world. And I would become a life long advocate. The book is hard to read if someone does not have experience reading post graduate-academic papers. Just take your time and break it up on segments, take notes, write down your questions and use it as a tool in your research. If you have the money, he’s worth the money. If you have the money and would like to sponsor a parent like myself, message me @ AphroditesLaundry1 on Twitter or AphroditesLaundry @ Gmail.com I’mwriting about my experience - in hope of helping families in the future. Family court is an example of an invisible discourse which needs to come to light. Buy his books- they’re worth it.
