Packaged Well. No broken pieces.
I was hesitant to order bc a previous reviewer stated that they were just thrown in a bag and that many were broken. They must've remedied that. Mine was packaged in a thicker box before being placed in the bag and the staples look great!

Works great with the US58
I bought these to use with the Porter Cable US58 upholstery stapler. Works great! I've used these to upholster two poker tables I've built and haven't had any real problems. They feed and fire fine every time. Pulling them out is another story, as they tend to break. Do a web search for my name and "poker" to find my website with pictures of the tables I upholstered with these staples.

Nice quality, easy to remove
These are good quality staples. My Porter Cable stapler drives them all the way into hardwood yet they are easy to pull out with a staple remover if needed. They don't break off. The only reason I gave them four stars was because the price is a bit high. I found the same staples for a little more than half this price at a local upholstery supply store, but if you don't have a local source the price is still pretty good.

Inexpensive upholstry stapler
Purchased these staples along with the 3/8-in length staples and a Porter-Cable stapler. I just used the stapler last night and I was quite please with the performance. I was impressed with how substantial the staples were. Good product.

The crowns were short
I was excited to get these for an upholstery project I am working on and have not been able to find any 22 gauge staples locally. I dropped them into my stapler, which is supposed to accept 3/8 inch crown staples and I couldn't close the slide. I thought something was wrong with my stapler, until I dropped some T50's in (with a lower gauge) and was able to close the slide. I got out a ruler and sure enough, the T50's had a crown that was exactly 3/8 inch, but these had a 5/16 crown, meaning they were too narrow. The box said 3/8 inch crown so I didn't know if the box was just filled with the wrong staples, since there did appear to be about a 1/2 inch of wiggle room in the box, or if it was just a manufacturing defect and they were made too narrow. Regardless, they were unusable in my stapler. Also, the legs were not 1/2 inch as stated, they were also short by 1/16th of an inch. The leg length did not really pose a problem for me like the crown width did.Amazon was great, and refunded my money right away. I also contacted the company and they were friendly and very quick to respond to my concerns. Their response follows -"First and foremost, thank you very much for your e-mail. Would you mind telling me what the model number of your tool is? I ask because there are different styles of fine wire fasteners that are all called a 3/8" crown but they are made from different gauge wire and are not interchangeable in the same tools. While these 71/12 staples are called a 3/8" crown, the production tolerance actually has them run narrower to fit in that tool series. It may seem misleading but the reason that this style staple is called a 3/8" is because all of the tool manufacturers call that style tool a 3/8" crown stapler."Overall, if you order be sure to check the measurements of the staples you receive if you can't get them to work in your stapler. For reference I purchased the Freeman Fine Wire Stapler. I almost returned the stapler thinking that it was defective, because I had a hard time believing the staples were my problem. Now I'm back on the hunt again for 22 gauge staples that will work and have truly a 3/8 inch crown.

Staple remover saved me from jabbing myself.
I have been using a flat screw driver to remove staples from upholstery and it was always an accident waiting to happen. This tool works far better, faster and safer. Don't know why I hadn't purchased one years ago.
