This unit is small put gives a lot of powerful heat right away after turning it on without need for propane. I like this is waterproof meaning I could also use it on my patio too. It comes with a metal chain to hang this from the ceiling to a really thick metal ring. In addition to securing it up high, I like the added safety features if it is ever tipped or left on. It does have a short cord so I recommend having a extension cord ready for this. I love that it comes with multi year guarantee. I do wish it came with a remote, as the pull string isn’t the best for me. Overall I am impressed with the amount of heat this gives off and would recommend.

It took me only minutes to install this heater in our screened porch. It was nice looking, and when I turned it on, it had the amount of heat one would expect from a 1500 Watt heater. The problem was that it literally conked out after about 3 minutes. No smoke, no sparks, it just stopped working. I tested the cord with an electrical tester and I could see that the unit was getting power. I wouldn't necessarily say "don't buy this". My defective unit may have been a rarity.

This is exactly what I was hoping for to hang in our gazebo. I ordered two with the intention that if they worked I would order two more and hang one over each seating area of our 8 person square table. They do look fantastic hanging and I received many compliments.When on they provide a very pleasant light but as far as heat goes, forget it. They would have to hang within inches of the guests heads for them to even feel anything. You can hold your hand within an inch of them with no discomfort from the heat.if they were $25 or so I might have just kept them but they aren't worth much more than that so I returned them.

After comparing several styles of heating gas, I finally chose this one.Many people are attracted by its appearance, indeed!After receiving the goods, I can't wait to open it. The texture is very good.And very reasonable design!It's also very convenient.It heats up faster and doesn't dry out like an air conditioner.This type of heater is very suitable/practical.

It comes with 2 carabiners and a chain as well as zip ties so you can hang it where you want. It needs a good safe outlet though since it uses a ton of power. Now we can enjoy our patio during the winter as well as we really like to eat outside.

Compact overhead, hanging heater. A nice, compact patio heater with plenty of output. We have it placed above our patio table outdoors on the screened in porch. This heater provides plenty of overhead heat for those cooler nights. It was easily mounted just by screwing a hook into the wood and attaching the chain and carabiner. Then simply plug it in and pull the cord to turn it on and you have heat!

Not as good as I thought for a 12 x 12 area

The heater arrived, the appearance of simple atmosphere and class, also do not move very convenient.It has gears, makes no noise, and is not dry. It's much better than an old-fashioned heater.Now this heater is completely dry and warm.Everything else is good.
