Cherry Blossom Decomposition Book: College-ruled Composition Notebook With 100% Post-consumer-waste Recycled Pages Stationery – January 16, 2014

Two comparisons:1. versus other composition books available, this is far superior. The cover is made more like the old school ones with actual stiff cardboard stock that gives the notebook legitimate firmness so it isn't all floppy. This protects it when stuffing in a bag or backpack. The binding is solid. The paper is a little nicer than the tissue-paper like stuff that comes in most others, so writing with a pen isn't a problem. If you're already familiar with these Michael Roger decomposition books, then you already know these are solidly made2. versus other Michael Roger 'decomposition books', this is the same quality at less than half the price with the more traditional looking, albeit creative twist, front cover marbled pattern. I wasn't a big fan of the other cover designs of these decomposition books so was psyched to find this and at a much better price.And of course, its great that these are made of 100% recycled material and printed with soy ink if you're a granola-eating tree-hugging hippie nature dork like me.

I know, I know...it's a notebook...what could go wrong?But aside from the ecological responsible use of recycled material and soy ink (and spiffy Tony Millionaire illos on the inside cover!), these things can take a beating. I've used them for years and they've been dropped, bent, run over, stuffed with other papers and drenched in tropical storms...and when they dry out, the binding holds and the ink doesn't run. The paper weight is sufficient for dual-side use without bleed-through. These things are top quality.All of hte designs are nice, but I'm partial to the Cherry Blossom cause of it's stealth resemblance to old-school comp books.

Another great decomposition book. Same great quality. A very nice and sturdy notebook! Be warned though, even though it has nice thick pages, they are not thick enough for use with a fountain pen, unless you have an incredibly dry pen.

Was interested in a recycled paper notebook -- this is a solid one, great paper and durable, plus the aesthetics and artwork are a wonderful bonus.

Beautiful and sturdy. Very high quality - higher quality than the average comp book you find in a store.

El diseño es clásico y muy bonito. El papel es reciclado y está impreso con tinta de soja.En la cara interior de las tapas trae unas ilustraciones muy bonitas. Estoy deseando usarlo y seguro que no será el primero.

This notebooks are my favourite. Although you must know the pages are kinda thin, in case you like writing with a Pilot or something like that.
