perfect for introducing toddlers to the world of potty training
P is for Potty! (Sesame Street) (Lift-the-Flap) book is a delightful children's book that is perfect for introducing toddlers to the world of potty training. As someone who has recently gone through the potty training process with my own child, I can say that this book is a fantastic resource that makes the process fun and engaging for little ones. The book is beautifully illustrated with vibrant colors and familiar Sesame Street characters, which immediately captures a child's attention. The lift-the-flap feature is particularly engaging for toddlers, who love to interact with their books. What I particularly love about this book is that it tackles the subject of potty training in a way that is not intimidating for children. It breaks down the process into simple steps and encourages children to feel proud of their accomplishments along the way.The language used in the book is simple and easy for children to understand, and it also includes helpful tips for parents. The book reinforces positive behavior and rewards children for their efforts, which is a great way to motivate them throughout the potty training process.Overall, I would highly recommend P is for Potty! (Sesame Street) (Lift-the-Flap) book to any parent who is about to embark on the potty training journey with their child. It's a fun and engaging resource that makes the process much easier and more enjoyable for everyone involved.

So helpful for introducing potty!
This is the perfect book for introducing your toddler to the potty. It is short and to the point. Has lots of fun flaps for them to turn, and really helps motivate use of potty. My toddler always says “just like Elmo”. It’s perfect!

Cute and good for Elmo fans!
Good book, loved the quality of the board book. The book itself was physically bigger than I expected, a little big for a small lap sitting on the potty while trying to potty train, but my two year old isn't quite there yet so it's good for our purposes. The amount of pages was sort of disappointing though, there really aren't very many, but there are a good amount of flaps involved that are strong cardboard. My toddler also loves all the toys in the different scenes, lots of dinosaurs were a plus! This is a good book for those kids who understand already why/when they use the potty but maybe still have accidents/are still in pull ups (which that concept is also addressed nicely). However, there isn't much beyond that. I always find photos helpful in these kinds of reviews, so I included some photos of the only potty scenes where basically they only talk about what to do after using the toilet like wipe/flush and wash hands. I felt it was a bit lacking in this area, and due to a shortened story and not many pages is why I docked a star. I'll have to keep looking for a potty book that talks about the entire process, but as my son has become a massive Elmo fan, this is bound to hold his interest.Update July 2018:So we are pretty much day trained at this point (still wearing our cloth trainers on outings) but out of the five or so potty books I had, I'd definitely say this was the favorite. Still feel it was a little wide to hold on his lap while sitting on the potty, but we could go through the whole book with all the flaps and it would help give him the time to relax and go (but not too much time to get bored). Bonus points for this book as he also would bring up the story multiple times when we were discussing potty training and what he needed to do. I'd definitely include this in your library.

Sesame Street and Elmo do it again! Excellent book
We’re trying to potty train my two year-old and this book sits right by his little toilet for him to read. We actually read it to him, but when he sits on the potty, he holds it like he’s reading. Elmo and all his friends encourage and are great. A fun way to encourage your child with potty training.

The book is full of surprises, making the experience feel more like a game.
The media could not be loaded. Throughout the pages, there are numerous lift-the-flap features that encourage little readers to explore, discover, and stay engaged. These flaps reveal cute surprises, making the experience feel more like a game than a lesson. This playful approach can help ease the anxiety some children might feel about potty training.

Interactive and fun!
We love everything about this potty book. My son will be two next month and he asks me to read this to him every day. He had anxiety and sitting on his little potty so I stopped pushing. After reading this book EVERY day, he's started putting himself on the potty (pants on, practice) he's no longer frightened of the potty. He also likes to use his little people figurines and put them on the lift a flap potties. 💖And the verbiage is amazing, it talks about Elmo being big enough for the big boy potty, Alby is the one learning to use the potty transitioning from diapers to pull ups, and it talks about baby JoJo who's a tiny baby who's still fully in diapers. This is the best potty book. Buy it you will not regret it!❤️🚽
