Good Insect Net
Where I live, there are beautiful insects and spiders. Notably, the Eastern Tiger swallowtail and recently introduced, the gorgeous Joro spider. I like to observe these and others.Anyone who knows the Joro spider knows that sometimes, the webs are inconveniently in front of porches and decks. A gentle removal is required. This is the net I use. It telescopes so I can reach far. The net is wide enough for my purposes and strong to manage the brush in the backyard woods. It is light, so a one-handed reach is easy.Note: Do not use this for fish. This is a big upgrade from the one I had as a kid that I bought at the Ben Franklin. So far, I am pleased and fully recommend this net.Anthony Trendl

Perfect!
No more tying an aquarium net to a broom handle to catch hummingbirds in the garage. This is the industrial strength method to get the job done and release those little guys to fly another day.

Great net.
and I'm sure I would have gotten lots of use from it if my son hadn't used it to capture an escaped 4 week old Guinea keet. The telescoping handle proved a bit too fragile for the task. The metal is very thin and the sections of the handle do tend to spin making me have to frequently turn it to orient the net to what I'm trying to catch. I repaired it with a dowel and gorilla tape. The net portion however is incredibly sturdy. It stood up to being swept across rough weeds and held up to a struggling Kent's claws without a tear.

Came with a hole
While seemingly packaged well, the net had a hole in it right out of the bag.Update: Company reached out to me within a couple of hours of my feedback. Offered an immediate replacement with no request to change my review. Can't beat the customer service. I have used Restcloud products before and I think this was just a one off. I have changed my rating to five stars.

Well made
Works perfectly for intended purpose- catching escaped hospital birds in the treatment area. The diameter is generous, the net is soft and long enough to swish the bird in with a twirl to flop the bird safely in the enclosed netting. When the bird is immobilized and safe, it is carefully extricated by hand and returned to hospital cage. A skillful hospital worker needs a fully extended net (birds go as high as they can!) that is sturdy and easy to handle.

Beautiful & Broken on the FIRST USE!
First impression: this has a solid hoop and net. The hoop attaches very well to the shaft. The handle grip is comfortable, but the telescoping shaft however crumpled near the handle in less than 10 minutes of normal adult use in the fully extended position. I was able to wonderfully capture four cabbage moths in that time, with two at one scoop. It was so fun in the garden while it lasted. I was able to shorten the shaft after it broke, so at least it can be used by someone (way more delicately of course). It is possible this was defective from the factory. For a Professional model one should expect a more robust telescoping shaft design and this is not that.

Great length
Great length for my high ceilings in garage. Not using for butterflies, but using to get hummingbirds out that keep getting stuck and don't want to leave. Needed something delicate and this should do the trick.

Using for untamed budgies indoors
Using this for untamed parakeets indoors. Very easy to put together. Opening is large enough for my birds to catch them even in flight and not hurt their wings. I would think the large opening would be good for butterflies. Plenty of netting again so the birds don't get hurt. Telescoping handle is long and stable. If you use the net inside you won't need to skid the handle. Overall a great product that I would buy again.
