Swanson Produra Bacillus Coagulans 2 Billion Cfu 30 Veg Capsules

My husband uses this to help with lactose intolerance. He used to use digestive advantage until they changed the formula and now it "may contain wheat". My husband has a gluten intolerance and we did try the new formula; sadly it definitely contains wheat lol. So we didn't know what he was going to do until I looked at the ingredients and realized the main component was bacillus coagulans. So we searched and searched for a bc that would work and one that was also gluten free. Almost none of them certify that they are gluten free so we had to just try several. Turns out ones that contain bc-30 (a trademarked version of bacillus coagulans I'm guessing it's a proprietary strain or production method or something) really is the best and it's also in most super food and smoothie and protein shake powders. But he still needed a pill as making a smoothie everyday was not convenient. So we tried several brands, solaray may contain wheat too based on his results and this brand worked and was also the best price. Can't have enough of this in our house!

Seems to help with bile digestion issues. There's 1 or more studies that show it increased the amount of protein absorbed from a meal. I have severe dysbiosis manifesting in IBS-D & severe CFS, and arthritis. I can't eat high protein/fat meals or it makes everything worse. If I take this product with fat/protein meals it seems to help.Taking it with any phage product (they're all the same 4 phages) seems to help boost this species as well.

This helped reduce morning gassiness and throughout the day due to IBS. Eating leafy greens along with this product appeared to work best for this purpose.
