The two quickly become close friends, and eventually Pete teaches Jack to snowboard and they become partners in a snowboarding race. Factor in two greedy men looking to make their fortunes by kipping Jack and Jack's worried (human) "Mom" trying to track down Jack from Mexico in spite of a fierce hurricane, and a very familiar plot runs its predictable course. Unlike the previous MVP movies, this third production lacks intensity and suspense and ultimately leaves the viewer feeling uninvolved and uninterested.
