Could have great potential...
I originally had a brand called Color Around that produce aluminum palettes such as this. I wanted one with a bigger mixing space, but unfortunately for me, they were sold out. I decided to purchase this one from Artia assuming the quality would be similar since they are both similar in price. It has thirteen wells for your paints, two small mixing spaces, and one very large one. I love the look of the palette, it is very sleek and simple. It doesn't have the indentations of the wells on the outside like most palettes do (which I really dislike, I am all about aesthetics). The product is exactly as the description says, it is sturdy, and just the right size me. The only downside I have with this palette is that it does not close. I think the metal that clasps the palette close is slightly warped in so it is unable to shut tight. I am not sure if I happen to get a defective one or it is how the palette is, but even if there is a chance to get a defective one I would not recommend it if that is a big no for you.Photos:I apologize for some reason when I take a picture upright my photo automatically puts them upside down...Kind of lazy to fix it.

13 well metal palette
I've been looking for a metal, closable watercolor palette for a while. Most of the ones I have found are for half pan or full pan watercolor paints. And the ones that are for tube watercolor are usually so expensive. This one is priced just right and it works just fine. I use a limited palette so the 13 wells work just fine for me. It's black on the outside and white inside, has a closeable hole for your thumb which I never use. It opens flat so you can use the inside of the lid as a mixing tray. I love this palette, I have two other ones for backup but this one is my go-to palette. Warning: it does NOT have a waterproof seal so if you have runny, watery paint, it will probably run out.

This is a nice, small
This is a nice, small, and sturdy pallete. Good for traveling. The wells are close together so if you're a bit messy like me, you might want to have a space between a few of your colors. But this is something I expect to use for many years.

Light non rust aluminum, paint doesn't bead after scrubbing ...
Light non rust aluminum, paint doesn't bead after scrubbing the surface with nylon scrubber and bar keepers friend powder, large wells and plenty of mixing area, box snaps closed. Only thing to be aware of is Colors will run to other wells if paint not dry and pallette is tipped from horizontal

Four Stars
good palette for the money, just wish the groove between the smaller mixing areas was higher

very nice palette
it's a great palette for watercolourpaint. Looks like Holbein but is aluminium, not iron, so it will not rust... I'm not sure it'll bend more easy.... we'll see!

I love it! The pans lie flat when open
It's a little hard to open, and otherwise, I love it! The pans lie flat when open.

Just OK not top quality
I wasn't impressed with this water color palette. I own the Winsor Newton 24 half pan set in a beautiful metal box so I guess I am spoiled. This one is kind of flimsy and mine was almost impossible to open. The edges are rough. I guess it's OK if you are not fussy about extreme quality. But I sent mine back and will stick with porcelain daisies for extra mixing tools.
