Sydney Saddleworks Australian Xtra Large Black Oilskin Duster - Riding Coat

I'm 50 and not in the best shape of my life. I work in a large corporation and drive a fuel-efficient mid-size car back and forth to the burbs each day. But when I put this duster on and take a late-night walk on the wind-swept back streets near where I live, I feel like a cowboy or an action character or a superhero (but like Green Hornet or Batman--no special powers).Yeah, I know--how mature is THAT? But I don't care. Sometimes a piece of clothing is just more than itself. The special shoes that make you run faster, the tie that makes you feel more like an expert, the sunglasses that turn you into a celebrity (in your own mind). This duster is in that company.Which is NOT to say that this is a costume piece. On the contrary, the reason it works so well as a talisman of transformance is precisely because it is authentic. Flowing and not bulky, thin but warm enough, a bit fussy on a few of the flappy parts, but overall, just a really solid, practical wrap. But solid and practical in a genuinely bad-apple kind of way.

Loved the coat however, it needed at least 2 more inches in the biceps and 3 more inches in the leg straps.

This is a awesome duster I've worn it when I ride my motorcycle and I didn't have any problems staying dry

I recently ordered the Australian duster for my husband and it was a good purchase. It arrived promptly and in great condition. He is hot natured so he didn't want anything too heavy. It was perfect for him. It is not a thick jacket but it is light weight and durable. I would recommend this to anyone. It makes a great gift!
