The product is well thought of and robust. Has totally taken off the need to guess soil moisture for me and has helped me identify wrong potting mix in certain planters (some mixes which looked dry on the surface, stayed moist on the inside for too long leading to stunted growth).Moreover, the fact that it doesn’t require batteries and is such sturdy makes it kind of internal in my gardening set.Will rate 5/5 for the product.

This product ticks all boxes - price,ease of use and portability.Accuracy is a topic best left to independent testers with clinical results.My own experience regarding accuracy is based on the fact that I got different readings for different soil types ranging from acidic compost to sandy loam.Readings are to be considered as approximate as the scale is analog.Regarding longevity,I guess time alone will reveal so and that would call for editing this review.

I was having trouble figuring out if I am overwatering the lawn in certain spots. Good product to identify areas that require special attention.

It was delivered nicely packed in a cardboard box, but the seal of the inner blister pack was half open. That said, the device itself works well and functions as expected. It is a great help in identifying the right time to water the plants.P.S. - Made in China!

I did some initial tests on my garden and potting soil, it showed quick results for PH factor. Still need to go and check with my nearby nursery of the reading is accurate. It showed around 7 for pots and 8.5 for ground soil.
