This vest is very similar to those made by other manufacturers, i.e. nice, heavy denim shell for rough use, ample pockets for hands and tools, etc.The thing that set this vest apart for me was the collar and zipper that ran from the vest bottom up to my neck. Other vests simply provide a V-neck design. When the weather is cold, that nice high neck and collar and good to have.

I wear a vest around a lot in the winter months (I've got this one on right now, actually.) I needed a new one and so got a few different ones delivered finally settling on this one. Sent the others back.I like this vest quite a bit. I've liked Wolverine quality in the past, and the quality is still very good. The medium size was a little tight fitting on me, but the large was a little too loose so I went with tight and I am glad I did because it's a bit snug. That isn't a bad thing for when you want to wear it under an outer jacket. Plus, snug keeps you warm right? I've had it about a month now, I wear it inside and out and if my wife was writing this she would say "it seems like he never takes it off." So I say: buy it! It beat out all the competition easily. And the price was good, too!

This fits almost identical to Carhartts sherpa lined vest, ( except wolverines medium is equal to Carhartts small ) and feels about the same cut and material wise, thickness ect. I went with this since carhartt no longer makes anything in the green mossy color, shame. Alas this is a good alternative.

The interior pocket perfectly fits my Glock 26 in a Sticky holster. Totally invisible either zipped or open. I've tried it with my 19 as well and have had no issues. That and it's a pretty warm and well built jacket. No complaints!

Good fit, well made

This vest fit perfectly. Kept me warm through a cold winter. Covers the lower back when crouching/kneeling. Sherpa lined.

It's slightly smaller/shorter than I hoped but I do like it, I woild recomend this product.
