MINUOYI Sports High Waist with Underpants Tennis School Cheerleader Pleated Skirt

I have purchased many brands of pleated schoolgirl style skirts but this was my first from this seller. It took six weeks to receive the two skirts and it was well worth the wait! Both the teal blue and the purple color schemes are absolutely amazing and unique. The sizing is exact, the waist does not stretch and the material is stiff enough to keep the shape of the pleats but still hang the way I prefer the skirt to look. I did have to iron the pleats when the skirts first arrived and as I always do with these skirts, I carefully removed the sewn in shorts. I prefer no shorts sewn in but this style has so much more variety of colors and patterns, I can't resist. I am 5'11" so the length is short which I prefer but if you are more reserved you can leave the shorts in of course. Once the shorts are removed, these skirts fit just like my other name brand pleated skirts. The teal skirt has the gold strips mentioned in other reviews but I actually like them. The material of the teal skirt is a little stiffer than the purple skirt maybe due to these strips so the pleats are a little sharper on this style skirt.If you love pleated schoolgirl skirts the way I do, I highly recommend you order this one and then be patient...it will definitely be worth the wait!I purchased the pink skirt with the silver strips embedded in the material and like the teal skirt, the material is a little stiffer than the skirts without the silver strips. I like the way the pleats retain shape better with these skirts. I will most likely order the purple and the red when they restock my size.

First off, the skirt's quality surprised me! The skirt material is not flimsy and has a nice soft crispness to it which I want in a pleated skirt. The knit shorts underneath are much comfier and breathable than the non-stretch satin shorts another seller had in their skirt. The length for me at 5'3" is perfect, not too short, but short enough to cover my bum and give me the illusion of long legs.The sizing quality control is just not there. For a 27" waist and 38.5" hips, I ordered a Medium and a Large based on other reviews. The Large ended up having a 30.8" waist which was too large and the medium has a 26.5" waist which was too small. These were listed as 29" and 27.6" respectively. I decided to order another medium to see If maybe it was mistagged as a small, but the next medium came with a 27" waist which was still too small for me. I plan to keep the Large and do an alteration on the waist to make it smaller. Plan to buy at least 2 sizes to see which fits best because the sizing is very inconsistent and will frustrate you.

The media could not be loaded.  It’s pretty good ~ There’s just a few little issues. I didn’t think the tan/yellow lines would be shiny. The shiny lines are kind of scratchy but I can deal with it ;w; I’d prefer if it was all the same fabric tho lol, so if I ever find a better skirt like this without the scratchy shiny gold lines, I’d probably start wearing that over this.. but for now this is good because I’ve always wanted a skirt like this ~ I got a size medium, my usual size, and it was just a tinyyy but bigger around my waist but it’s better if I pull it down. I like pulling it up tho because I prefer it at a certain length uwu (my height & weight: 5’1”, 112-117 lbs)(waist: 29in/72cm)Anyways.. so good things are.. it does look like how it does in the pictures, aside from shiny scratchy gold lines. And it came in earlier than the date said so that was nice ~I’ve been wearing it a lot recently. I bought this as a test to see how the quality would be but I’m afraid I’ll get scratchy gold line in other skirts but who knows maybe notMaybe it’s just this red one, the other skirts seem to be fine from the other reviewers :3

I rarely wear skirts and the last skirt I owned was too short on my butt, but this skirt met over the expectations I had as I was just hoping to replace what I used to have. I saw that most people had to size up and that was a good catch because if I didn’t it wouldn’t fit. I was skeptical at first but now that I see it fits over my belly so say 10/10.

I would like to complement that the seller sent over the skirt very fast. It was expected to come on March 17th since I ordered it on February 26th 2017. However, it arrived earlier (on 3/11) so I complement them for that. The material is very good; I was fairly impressed by the material. I have yet to put it in the wash, but I'll revise my review if it does tear in the wash. As for the skirt itself and how it fits...I was a bit surprised that the lines on the top of the skirt (near where your stomach is) didn't fall straight but kind of in a slanted shape. I was expecting more of a straight line like what the model has on. Kind of disappointed in that, but it is a comfortable dress. To anyone that buys this skirt, you should definitely should go a size up-I wear a size 27 in waist here in the US and got a medium. Its a bit snug, but fits alright. I feel like I would be in between a size medium or large.

The quality of the fabric of the black skirt with 2 white stripes at the bottom is impressive. I expected something cheaper, but I was pleasantly surprised. I followed the measurement guide for the skirt, but I still couldn't get it above my hips. There's no stretch in this fabric (which goes to show you it's a higher quality material, with a bit of weight to help on windy days) so there was no hope for me to even try it on. If I could have gotten the skirt on, I would have proven it's way too short. Holding it up my waist had it barely covering my crotch. There's no way this skirt would have covered my butt in the slightest and I think I have a fairly average size rear. Even though I planned on wearing this skirt with panty hose, there's no way I would have been able to leave the house feeling remotely comfortable.

If you purchase, make sure you size up. I bought a medium and should have bought a large. The quality is excellent, though.
