Lightweight clock, will stay on the wall with a nail in the drywall, don't need to find a stud.Looks like nicely painted wood with glass covering the face but it's all plastic, which is what I wanted for a bathroom wall- much lighter. Silent, keeps time well, and has the thermometer. The face looks antique-y which works well in my old house.

I am so pleased with this purchase. I wanted a silent running clock. The second sweeps steadily and smoothly and silently. The silver color matches the picture in this room perfectly, exactly what I wanted. In the listing, material it is made from says "tin". Not so. It is plastic, nice thickness, but not tin. It does have a waterproof cover on the clock mechanism in back if one wanted to use it outdoors. So far it is running accurately keeping perfect time. It's a nice weight, not too heavy, but not feeling cheap. I would buy it again. And would buy it from this seller. I got it in exactly the time stated.

We put this is the bathroom that has the walk-in shower, where I’m pretty sure the humidity has been killing previous clocks. I was surprised and impressed with how great it looks! I’m going to buy another of these for the garage. The numbers are big and clear enough to see from a distance, and the clock has a sort of retro vibe without looking old-fashioned. For the price, it’s a great deal.

Sadly the clock did not fare well in our pool area. Even though it was semi- sheltered, the exposure caused the face to warp and so the hands wouldn’t move properly.

Use in the bathroom that gets steamy after showers. Regular clocks break down in less than a year. This one seems to work well. Time will tell.
