BurtonMens Gore-TEX Mittens

What warm gloves! Went snow tubing in 25 degree, windy weather, and my hands were perfectly warm! The liner gloves are so soft and fit well in the mitten! The wrist pulls tighten the mitten as much as you need, and easily adjustable, even with a mitten on the other hand! Seem to wear well , no scrapes or marring of the materials, even after a full 7 hours of tubing. Wish the mittens were cheaper, but worth the price, I must admit

Pros:-very comfortable, inner liner has individual fingers-inner liner comes in and out when you want it to, has a very sticky rubber textured surface, not that you should be using your phone on the lift ;)-very warm-kept dry from 3 days of snowboarding in a row (I've had gloves that soak through over night, not these ones)-top vent flap can hold hand warmers-easy to adjust while wearing (tightness around wrist, sealing over coat around forearm)Cons:-on my 3-day snowboard trip, I managed to make a tiny tear all the way through the fake leather on the palm-side of the glove. I think I did this while pushing myself when nearly stationary on a cat trail on some rough snow but I'm not 100% certain. It was a bummer, but it did not appear to compromise its water resistance!-compared to gloves, these mittens make it much harder to grab the flaps of "pit zippers" on coatsConclusionI'll update this review if the small tear starts to have any effect but as it stands, I'm a huge fan of these gloves. I wanted GORE-TEX without breaking the bank, and these delivered.

Used another pair of liners

Mittens are good and the mitten portion can work on your touchscreen - so could answer a call. But, the liner gloves DO NOT work on the touchscreen. So if you want to draft an email/text on the chair lift, it gets difficult as the mittens are too big to do that kind of work. Next version should have a couple fingertips on the gloves that work with touchscreens and this would be a 5 Star.UPDATE: called Burton and they are sending some liners that should work with the touch screen. Seems like every now and then, some of the liners may not work - Give 5 STARS to Burton for service.

Love these mittens. Went to keystone rode hard for 2 days it was pretty warm I did not get to test the inside gloves for warmth bur the outer mitten is rock solid. Even when I got snow in them from wiping out or just from sweating in them they dried out with the top vent open going down the hill. I highly recommend this product. I never measured my hand but I wear a large to extra large and regular work gloves and the large fit just right.

I ride east coast primarily and even on a 35F day these mittens without using the liners were SO HOT. Great mitten I guess but I can’t use them unless it’s way colder.

I haven’t taken them on the mountain yet, but let me tell you I am extremely impressed with these mittens. All of the mechanics make sure the glove is on as tight as possible with straps on hand and wrist after on. The mechanics are amazing and make it very easy to tighten and loosen while wearing gloves too. Plus the pocket to be able to put hand warmers in is a huge plus. As well as the inner glove has sticky lining which I love so it sticks in the mitten for better control plus for your touch screen phone. Would highly highly recommend these gloves to anybody!

I finally found something that keeps my hands warm . I have Raynaud's disease and my fingers get really cold and numb easily, so these mittens help keep them warm.

I got the large size and they fit really well, though note my hands aren't particularly large. The mitts are really warm and comfortable. Should be good for snowboarding or other winter activities at least down into the -20C's.

Of course I ordered these too late because the cold weather has pretty well gone away. They are very comfortable and can't wait to see if these are as warm as they promise.

Love them. Great quality. Great fit. Love the dual layer.

Comfortable and warm. It has really good waterproof. But if you go to some really cold weather the screen touch will not work!
