Amazing Shower Curtains - 2020 World Map Shower Curtain 70x70 by Segmia

This totally makes our bathroom. The colors are happy, bright. It's true that a couple of borders are a bit off or colors are confusing as to where a neighboring country begins. Singapore, for example, is drawn on in the same color as Indonesia and is not labeled so that is not cool, but at least it is there and I can write it in!Also if water is sprayed directly at the curtain from a 90-degree angle, water will go through, but during the course of a normal shower it is functionally waterproof and we have no problems.In terms of privacy, the background is somewhere between translucent and opaque. The person showering is mostly hidden but would be able to be seen in silhouette under prolonged or close scrutiny...so we will need a second layer for liner when my kids get older but for now it is enough for general modesty.In general this is a great shower curtain and map. I am happy that it is machine washable and not totally clear like a previous curtain I purchased from another retailer. I would buy it again.

1 star for color pallet, and 1 star for coming with hooksThe map has several errors, and I will have to replace it once my son is old enough to know better. In the mean time, I try to learn from its mistakes. It's like a "what's wrong with this picture" game for the toilet. Also, oddly Asia-centric in the fact that there are several cities on that continent. Yet the only non-capital cities in North America are in Canada.Photos show that New Jersey is an afterthought, the Persian Gulf looks like a lake, and one Ocean is a "Dcean"...

This shower curtain looks great. But, its poorly made for the price. The plastic is thin and there is no metal eyes where the shower curtain hooks go's in. You have to push the hooks through. There is nothing stopping it from tearing if someone pulls on the curtain. Then, the shower curain hooks that came with the curtain are junk. The hooks are just hard plastic egg shape and bearly open. I couldn't open the hooks big anoth to get around out cured shower curtain bar. So I had to reuse our nice metal one. The reason why I am keeping the curtain is for my sons. So they have map to look at why using the restroom and for educational purposes. But if I found this in the store I wouldn't pay over 12 dollars for it, even if it's a map. I'm disappointed in the quality.

Our household has traditionally forever had a world map shower curtain in the main bath. You know that brightly colored version from Target? They stopped carrying it now that it's time for us to replace it (again- we've been through 3 already over 15 years).Thankfully, we found the World Map from Amazing Shower Curtains here on Amazon. It is definately living up to its name.This curtain has the same bright colors of our previous ones (so our towels and decor still match) plus the material is soo much nicer than Target's version. In addition it has cute little sea animals, and pictures of some of the world's wonders (they have more than 7 listed including, Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal, Pyramid of Giza, Effiel Tower, Grand Canyon, & Great Barrier Reef), we thought these were some great additions.It also comes with 12 easy to apply shower rings, so you DON'T NEED TO BUY RINGS.Love this product.Very happy.

I got this to play World Detective on Alexa - while putting on makeup.See all of the white area at the top?The art needs to be raised.You have to hang the curtain about a foot from the floor to be able to read it.I had to return it.I'm in the printing business and wonder if they did not consider this when printing the curtain.A professional printer would have pointed it out.I would have.My curtain needed to be flush to the floor since I only a shower.The picture has a high tub allowing the curtain to be raised so that someone can actually read it.

This shower curtain does a great job keeping the water in the shower - 5 stars.This shower curtain does a horrible job being a map.This map is not correct and seems to make "errors" that exacerbate global issues. Parts of the US are now in Canada. Utah is joined with ColoradoNorth and South Korea are unified -with Russia. Russia is also colored the same as much of the former USSR - I bet some folks in Ukraine would take issue with this.Germany, Denmark and Sweden are unified - potentially the future of the EU.

I was hesitant to buy at first because of a few of the older reviews. But then I noticed that the pictures posted for the older reviews did not match the current photos being advertised. They must have updated their shower curtain. I received a shower curtain that is fabric, has metal rimmed holes, and is true to the pictures currently advertised. The Great Lakes are in the correct place. Everything looks neat and well done to me. West Virginia and Singapore are not labeled, but they are there, so I'm fine with that. I'm honestly impressed at how well it's all labeled (aside of those 2). I love the bright colors, as well as some of the landmarks added in. My kids love it too!

The quality of the curtain is fine, although the hooks were plastic and jankey and I didn't mess with them and just got different hooks.The reason I'm reviewing a shower curtain is because the map is dumb. The countries are only in 5 or 6 different colors, which is fine. But they don't care enough to either draw a boarder or use a different color for neighboring countries. Almost all of South America is green, combining Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay in to one puke green blob. They do similar stuff all over the map.Just lazy. Find a different curtain.
