The Classical Piano Method - Method Book 2: With CD of Performances and Play-Along Backing Tracks

Great book for someone who never was studying classical music, but has basic knowledge in playing piano and reading sheet music. I needed some of classical piano influence in my playing. I found this book useful and interesting, hence 5 stars for it.

An abolutely great series to get back into playing the piano with classical pieces. The slow pace enables the learner to concentrate on details. Book 2 is a good follow up on the first book.

Would be a suitable for adult beginners

As a beginner who has been playing piano on and off for 2 years. This was a book which I found excellent to practice with, most of the composition sound beautifully. The pieces vary in difficulty as you move along, it can become very challenging towards the end of the book.I have come across few simple yet beautiful pieces to play of this book. Additionally the exercises for the fingers are useful and can be fun as well. Book also makes the use of all the notes of the clefs including the high and lower ledger lines which can make it tricky to sight read.Overall I would recommend this book to anyone who would like to improve as well has play some nice pieces.
