I can confirm it worked, pulling power from two Goal Zero 50 watters in sequence. Tested the connections crimping and they seem sturdy, however was bummed that the connector doesn't 'snap' into place with my GZ 8mm barrel connector. However the connection does fit, just doesn't 'snap' which means it invariably will be loose and sure enough it pops right out (although this's much safer than any other part of the cord popping out and risking frying your unit or electrocution, so maybe it was a design choice? I'm guessing so, in order to fit all the other 8mm barrels, but that was kind of a bummer. I feel like long term that would affect the longevity of the connector, perhaps. The snap-together would have been a nice touch.Besides that, seems okay. sturdy, well labeled. I feel like it's a $15 product, not necessarily a $20. If it snapped together, I'd be all-in on $20, and probably buy a spare.Was able to pull 50 watts in, 20 volts, late afternoon sun, pretty happy with it! It's now a regular part of the bag with my bluetti, thanks!

Not much can be said about a wire connector. But this seems to work great. No complaints.

I bought this cable because I wanted to run/charge the battery in my portable ACOPOWER LION Solar Freezer/cooler when I am at a remote location with no power connections. And since I already had Jackery products, I paired the cable to the one of my Jackery SolarSaga 100W Solar Panel and when I plugged everything up to test the battery started charging right away. The fridge already has a built-in charger controller and everything appeared to be sound, the screen displays 10.6v and the battery indicator displayed the battery in charge phase. When I tested the connector with the solar panel, I was getting 17.2v. Time will tell but right now so far so good, and very happy with purchase.

I'm going to echo what at least one other reviewer has said regarding a few cons in weighing pros and cons.The female 8mm connector is too deep -- the plastic collar creates a deep well that other standard 8mm male plugs cannot fully reach. (particularly the center pin). I tried it "as-is" and it would not make a connection. I thought I was just screwed, until I read another review here that suggested trimming back/away the plastic collar on the female connector. Which I did with an X-Acto knife and now the connection works fine. Also, the extra-thick gauge wire seems like overkill for this product, and makes it a bit more difficult to manipulate/store than it needs to be.Other than that, I'm a happy camper, to have found what is for some reason a very hard-to-find adaptor cable! Everyone makes a 5.5mm female adapter cable, but no one makes a 8mm female adaptor cable.

I have a 300w Massimo battery box that uses a proprietary 6.5mm input jack (good luck finding one for sale). However, it came with the solar connector to 6.5mm cable, all I need is a transitional cable that accepts the 8mm plug from Jackery 100w solar panel to the solar connectors. This cable is what I need. it is well constructed
