Very pleasantly surprised
I bought this after doing some research on cases for my Asus UL30VT-A1 13.3 inch laptop. I was a bit hesitant since I didn't have a chance to run to a store and actually hold the thing, but after searching around in forums, etc. I decided to give it a go. This is one of those rare instances where you buy a product without having actually seen it and it works out!The outer case design is good, although I'm not a huge fan of how slick the outer casing is (it's neoprene, so come on, getting nitpicky here), it is well made and not an eyesore.Where the case really stands out is on the inside (funny enough the most important part and what I'd assume is the reason you're looking to buy the thing). The inside is very sound. Strong, yet not abrasive on the laptop case. I almost wanted to drop it with my laptop inside because it looked so sound... almost... I trust the thing but let's not get crazy here. I ride a motorcycle and fully trust that if I were to take a spill with it in my backpack, it would fare better in the incident than I would. The only knock I could put on it is that while you could fit your power supply in the side pocket, it does make a bulge. I could see how the sharp edges of the power supply could potentially break through the side pocket after a lot of wear. But let's be honest, you getting a laptop sleeve, not a carrying case and as a sleeve it definitely does it's job.All in all a great buy. I mean what else is there to a laptop sleeve? Protection. Looks good. Buy.

Just OK ... too larger for 13" Dell XPS and pocket is too small for power cords
This thing wants to be a slip laptop sleeve but it is too big. But then it's too small to fit in accessories. It works for my store while charging at home use, but it is not real practical for use on the move.

Pretty good case
This is a pretty nice case overall. I bought it because it had that egg crate cushioning as the padding for the inner case. I thought the bumps would be bigger to be honest and when I pushed one in with a bit of pressure, it never came back up. So i got about 4-5 cushion bumps that seem to be forever depressed inwards which bothers me. Still its a good case with a nice feel and the inner zipper line is cushioned too so you don't have to worry about the laptop rubbing against it. Just don't try to push any of the bumps in.

Store anything in the accessory pouch and it will look like there is a small animal inside the case
Use it with a Zenbook UX305 (Previously had a Thinkpad X200s in there). Fits it perfectly. The eggshell material offers plenty of protection.Store anything in the accessory pouch and it will look like there is a small animal inside the case. The pouch is probably more suited for a mouse pad or a booklet than a mouse or adapter.

Zeroshock going down the tubes
My original (version zero) ZeroShock cases are marvels of 21st century design and engineering. Strong, sleek, protective, efficient. This thing is a huge disappointment. Floppy, sketchy materials, and a stupid zipper on the top that catches on other items in my bag...damaging books and notepads. I'm not saying there is much better out there for a real foam case, but I just wish Shinza would do a better job. Last time I ended up preferring a Case Logic cordura covered memory foam sleeve I found for half the price. Shinza should just go back to their original designs for a marked improvement over the last two styles...and just offer it in more sizes to keep pace with the evolving laptop and tablet market.

Sturdy Case that offers Excellent Protection for 12.1 to 13.3 inch Notebook PC
I have used Zeroshock cases for many years. It is slightly more expensive than neoprene case, but in my opinion, offers much more protection against bumps and rough handling. The inside of the case is made from memory foam that absorbs shocks much more effectively than neoprene or sponge foam. This case will hold notebook PC sizes of 12.1 to 13.3 inches. The case exterior is non-porous, soft and matte finish synthetic material, which should be more durable than fabric materials. No small case can protect a notebook PC from a drop of 3 feet or more, so you should still exercise care.

two problems
I got this because I wanted a laptop sleeve for my HP Pavilion dv3. It is a perfect fit and has great protection. Everything is perfect especially considering the price. The first problem are the zippers, they broke easily. I was able to replace those with keyrings, whatever I don't care the important thing is the sleeve itself and it does it's job. The second problem is the smell. It's not a strong smell, it's very faint but when you can smell that smell on your hand after handling the sleeve. Anyway the smell is kind of like plastic-rubbery smell. By the way, if anyone went to this company's website and seeing that it is japanese hence thinking this is made in japan.....well no, it is actually made in china.

Highly Recommend
The Zeroshock III has protected my laptop from all my travels including falls off beds, airport conveyors, and falling tools/equipment. The inside of the case did get a little dusty, so I recommend vacuuming it every now and then. As far as the outside, I would not recommend storing anything thicker than paper/passports/credit cards/business cards in the pocket since it causes the pocket to stretch. One corner of the outside material eventually developed a 0.5 cm laceration from wear and tear, but it never got larger. It did not affect the performance of the case.Another item to note is that the eggshell memory-foam/sponge core is softer at higher temperatures (> 80F / 27C). This may reduce the performance of the case. At lower temperatures, the material has delayed deformation which will help in drops and falls. Either way, the material performs much better than most other neoprene sleeves out there.Purchased a new Zeroshock III for my Thinkpad X250 to replace the 5 year old Zeroshock III that kept my Thinkpad X200 in pristine condition for 5 years.
