Canyon Road: Volume 1 (Canyon Road Love Stories)

Loved this book
Wish there was more to the story. Interesting, refreshing, easy mild romance. Could have elongated the story but I guess it was left to the readers imagination that all's well that ends well and love conquered all.

Long road to togetherness
I found this to be a good story, not great. The characters are likeable but the language was a bit stiff and formal. It seemed like it was from another era or I am unfamiliar with the language used by those with money. The conclusion was sealed from the beginning so it was not surprising. Neither was the lawyer conflict. I wasn't disappointed with the story. It was a bit slow paced for me.An interesting read.

A pleasant story but that's all
I actually found CANYON ROAD to be somewhat disappointing. The characters were all archetypes; none of them came across as real people. I also found everyone finding their perfect true love at first sight to be quite unbelievable. There were no crises or conflicts to overcome; some mild miscommunication was all that stopped the hero and heroine from getting together. I also didn't think they knew each other well enough; the things they shared in common were done separately so the characters couldn't have been aware of them. There were a great many editing mistakes throughout the book which interrupted the flow of the story. (For example, the past tense of "drag" is "dragged," not "drug.") I won't say why because that would be a spoiler, but I can't see how Millie was working in the mailroom or had a social relationship with Michael. There was nothing really wrong with the story (except the editing), so if you are looking for a light, quick romance to read, then you might enjoy this one.

Canyon Road
Entertaining read with a hint of murder mystery and cheesy romance. A glimpse of how the rich and famous live.
