I got this book for my husband to give my daughter at her babyshower. He is big John denver fan . It was such a beautiful book everyone at the shower loved it!! It also has sheet music and a cd ....this baby boy will continue the love for John denver and the special love for his music

This book takes a well-known song, and with each page, displays beautiful quilt-like images. The pages will resonate with young and old as the book emphasizes the importance of family and music. Each page offers many opportunities to teach young people about living in the country and appreciating nature and animals. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to singing the song and showing my children the pages for years to come.

My son and I enjoyed the book. It's great for anyone that loves West Virginia. We love our home state and hope one day the country roads take us back!

The book itself is beautiful. My Dad sang this song to me since I was a little girl. He is gone now and this song has a special place in my heart. So when I saw this book I had to have it, but no CD came with the book. There is a circle cut out in the second page like one belonged there, but there wasn’t. So that was disappointing. So I read the reviews on it & it appears they all recieved a CD with theirs.Other than that I am happy with the book.

Wanted to have because I loved John Denver

I’ve sent this book as a baby gift several times. I’m not sure who enjoys it more, the parents or the children. It’s great to sing along with John Denver on a song so many people know.

Our little one loves books she can sing, so we thought we'd try this one. The illustrations are amazing and she LOVES to sing this song. We aren't even John Denver fans, but we all love singing this book now. And, the ECHO Dot in her room will play the actual song to her so sometimes she wants Alexa to play the song while we sing along and flip thru the pages.

私が絵本を買うときに重点を置くのは、絵が素晴らしいかどうかです。最近の絵本は、アニメみたいな絵で描かれているものが多く、なかなか絵が素晴らしい本に出会えません。しかし、この本は違います。表紙を見ただけで、すぐ欲しくなりました。実際に手にしてみて、絵の素晴らしさは想像以上でした。柔らかい感じがして、細部も丁寧に書かれています。本の内容は、カントリーロードの歌詞になっています。（映画『耳をすませば』でも使われた有名な曲です。）１ページに書かれている歌詞も少ないので、読み聞かせにもいいかもしれません。また、最後のページには、楽譜まで付いています。

挿絵、楽譜最高です。音もクリアに聞けます。ありがとう御座いました。
