I was initially just looking for a sweat band but decided to give this a try. I use it mainly for yard work and it makes it a much more pleasant task. For yard work, I use it as a band it does a good job keeping the sweat out of my eyes. When I take a break I rinse it, snap it and drape it over my head and it provides such relief. I also use it for the gym. I am bald and drape it over my head while walking to the gym to protect me from the sun and it also keeps me nice and cool. It's a great product and a very fair price.

The product does at it is supposed to do, but I think the marketing is a little overblown.I used it during a hot yoga class and it honestly did stay cool. I'll admit I enjoyed that element quite a bit. However, it was not like turning on the air conditioner nor did it cool me to the point where I stopped dripping sweat.Having said that, it's a great towel. Just make sure you visualize the dimensions so that you know what you are getting. It's a perfect size for me!

Very thin and works quite well. I was a little skeptical when I purchased not knowing if it would actually cool me down or if it would just be a wet cloth around my neck. But, I was very happily surprised. The material absorbs the water, but does not 'spill" after it is wringed out. Yet is maintains it's cool feel and most definitely has kept me cooler in the So. Florida heat and high humidity. I recommend this product to anyone who works outside in the heat.

First of all, there are a couple of great things about this towel. It's quite long and wide which is wonderful for coverage. You can put it over your back like a shawl, around your head, whatever and there's plenty of length. It's also extremely lightweight and breathable and it doesn't stiffen up when it's dried. So that's great.But what's not so great is that it just doesn't stay that warm in comparison to the Boje. I purchased both at the same time and ran the same test on them. The Boje and others like it are of course different textures and different materials. Here's what I did. I wet both towels at 1pm. Then I hung them over a chair as it is too cold here for me to wear them. I know a true test would have been wearing it, but that's just not happening - I'm already cold enough as it is and these are for my Dad who is a human furnace.Right off the bat, the Boje was ice cold, and this towel was cold but not any cooler than an ordinary towel that's been wet. I kept checking on the towels every hour or so to see how wet they were and how cold they were. At about 4pm or so this towel was room temperature and was half dry. I snapped it several times, thinking that it may be in need of it, but it did not make it any cooler. The Boje on the other hand was still ice cold and did not dry until 8 or 9pm. I'm sure the results would have been different if I had been wearing it. But first impressions are that this is OKAY but not GREAT. Sure it might help cool down, but I don't feel that it would last. I will give it to my dad none the less and I will try to remember to update my review after he has used it.

This cooling towel works really well. I use it for workouts and when I dress up as the school mascot. I have found it is really cold for 30 minutes to a hour depending on what I am doing. It remains cool after the first hour, but if you like it cold all you need to do is rewet it. I like that it does not get stiff or have any kind of odor and the carrying pouch is nice.

I purchased two. One for my husband and myself. My husband can’t get over these towels. They stay cool for a very long time. Last year I purchased cooling towels but they were stiff. These cloths are ultra light and comfortable. I tend to get dizzy when the hot sun is beating on me. When gardening I put around my head like a turban. Works wonders for me.

I purchased a blue "Alfamo cooling bandana". It was very helpful on a hot day with a 10 mile hike. I would have given it 5 stars but despite washing prior to first use it left a blue dye on the collar of my new SPF factor, quick dry shirt and my tank top underneath (wore the towel around my neck) Luckily it came out of the quick dry shirt after soaking in Oxy Clean over night but the tank top I wasn't able to get it all out. But it was a lifesaver to have in the heat.

I LOVE Alfamo towels. A friend gave me my first. I have other brands-very plasticy and sticky. Alfamo is light, stays cool, re-cools with a snap..i have now ordered 2 additional Alfamo-long and short, the short to try on my head under a hat-I suffered a severe heat stroke and these are unbelievably helpful. i'd give them 100 stars if possible.

I purchase these for a Disneyland trip (that won't happen - stupid Covid), but I used this while doing yard work and I was very surprised how well they work! I have only used it a couple times so I can't say how it will holdup over time, but it easily stayed cool (felt really cold to begin with) for a long time, and was easy to recharge. I am happy I purchased one for the whole family because I can see how these will come in handy.

Works pretty good wrap it around my neck not like in the pic of around the face.

Love it. As described. I use it to keep my greyhound cool in the summer! He looks fancy and stays cool and happyyyyy at the beach!
