Moving to Western NC from Boston was a big cultural change for me !One thing in particular was missing.. No Chinatown !!!No more trips whenever the urge prodded me to go grab some Char Siu,Roast Duck, or whatever I was jonesing for !This sauce can bring Char Siu right to my home !Buying a small boneless pork butt, cutting it into strips and pouring thissauce over it to marinate, makes the entire process simple !I place individual pieces in a vacuum bag with the marinade and putthem in the freezer, letting me have my Char Siu fix whenever I need one !This couldn't be any easier !

Hard to find at grocery stores in SC. Exactly what I was looking for. I get it, you can make your own - but this takes all the guess work out of it. It arrived thoughtfully packaged. No breaks or leaks. We bought a boneless pork roast in prep for its arrival and grilled it up - perfect! Saving the 2nd jar for another round. Hopefully there will be enough leftover this time to make cha sui bao.

I love this Char Siu sauce.. the only thing is that it’s a little salty by itself but very tasty. Please don’t add salt when using this sauce it’s flavorful alone. I will definitely purchase again!!

I don’t know if you know the Chinese boneless spare ribs but this is very complementary to the sauce that they use for it just by adding a little bit of orange juice to it it’s also wonderful when you put it on chicken and let it marinate and smoke it or bake it in the oven it’s really good

I love it i dont live in a state where I can get this so I have to order. Thank goodness Amazon has it

This works great on a pork roast. Get it crispy and caramelized. It is like eating candy.
