This product has ZERO cooling ability. It smells pleasant, a nice combination of camphor and peppermint, but has no zing of any kind after applying it to the skin.It's slightly better if the gel is already cooled, but cold pudding would have the same effect.Compared to medicinal cooling balms this product is so ineffective that it should be considered completely pointless and therefore worthless. It's not an exaggeration to say that a free sample would be too expensive a proposition. Do not buy.

Cooling sensation is fairly mild
I did enjoy the cooling sensation and would appreciate it if it lasted longer. The gel does not leave a noticeable residue nor does it leave a smooth lotion type feel.

Acts like icy hot
As looking for a cooling product. This one wasn't, in fact, the longer it stayed on the more chemical heat was produced. Didn't care for this product.
