Protected my broken foot at night
I had a Jones fracture, a typically slow healing break of my 5th metatarsal bone. I was non weight bearing (wheel chair) for 2.5 months and then partial weight bearing. I wore a cam boot in the day and I used this at night. It really protected my foot in bed. It kept me from moving my ankle in such a way as to hurt and kept the sheets from bending my foot in a way that hurt. The velcro eventually was getting tired and so I used an additional velcro strap around the foot area closure and that kept it secure. It was super comfortable and soft and allowed me to relax in bed knowing I wasn't going to injure my foot further.

Runs smaller than size chart, but a good product overall
First, want to say it’s a great product. I have 4 screws in my right foot after surgery to repair a triple fracture and sleeping has been the pits. Every movement, bump, or tug wakes me up. I am over taking pain meds and sleeping meds just to get through. Wearing my full boot in bed is ridiculous and uncomfortable because it’s excessively bulky and has a rubber sole, not to mention it’s dirty from being everywhere else with me. This brace - specifically meant for sleeping/resting - is perfect. It’s a soft felt all the way around so it sits under blankets or sheet just right, doesn’t catch on anything. This also allows me to attach the Velcro any way I need to. The straps themselves are padded so they stay secure around my foot without making my screws hurt or dig.The only negative so far is that it runs small. I ordered a medium because it said I was right in the middle of the size chart for shoe size, but my toes go RIGHT to the end. For more specific reference, I am a size 10 (women) and it says it fits up to a size 12 1/2 (women) but I would definitely not be able to wear this if I was even a half of a size bigger. Size up if you’re hesitant.

Great Boot for Plantar Fasciitis
After trying one boot that I returned (not comfortable to sleep in), I purchased the Brace Direct Padded Night Splint 90 Degree Immobilizing Stretching Sleeping Boot. I ordered it on December 14 and received it December 20. 2023.I wore it for about 4 hours for 3 nights and noticed that each day my heel felt better. After 3 nights, I began wearing it all night. It does slip off during the night, but I just slip it back on if I wake up. I continued to see improvement and after about a week, I could get out of bed and walk normally. There was no pain. The fasciitis is not gone but I don't look like I'm 100 anymore!! I wear a women's size 6 shoe and ordered a small boot. I could possibly use an extra small (if they had that size), but I find this one comfortable and it has worked for me even though it slips off.The plastic part of the brace did break after 2 months (it was not abused in any way). I called Brace Direct and the girl was lovely. She was happy to hear of my success and disappointed that it broke. She said that is very, very unusual. The boot comes with a warranty and she said they would replace it. I received a prepaid mailing label (shortly after speaking with her) to return the broken boot which I am doing today. Once they receive the broken boot, they will send a new one.I highly recommend the boot for plantar fasciitis.

The best **updated**
I've tried 4 different styles of these--two prescription and two from Amazon. This one is hands down the best one. It's way more comfortable than the one with hard plastic on the back, and unlike that one, my heel actually stays down. I bought another one for my other foot. **update** after a couple weeks, it's just as comfortable, BUT the velcro is absolutely horrible. I have to redo the straps a few times during the night because they keep coming all done. This is for both, so I doubt it's some fluke thing.

Absolute life saver!!
I broke both sides of my ankle and ruptured both tendons. It’s excruciating. After a few weeks in a cast I was placed in a walking boot (trying to avoid surgery) the walking boot can’t be slept it, it’s too much. So I was left to figure something out and I saw this. Honestly, I didn’t have high hopes. My boot presses on my ankle and it hurts so bad, I figured this would probably do the same but I tried it anyway. It is a game changer!!! It’s secure, easy to put on, holds your foot/ankle still, even has a toe block to assure you have 90* as prescribed. It is so much more com than the boot and while I wouldn’t wish this injury on anyone, if you are unlucky enough to need this TRY IT! You might actually get some sleep.

Terrible Product
Terribly made. Will not hold up. Horrible waste of money & cruel product joke to folks who need support this prescribed item was to deliver.

Too boxy for a comfortable fit
I was really hopeful that this would be a good alternative for me as a sleeping boot, in lieu of the heavy, bulky, walking boot. Unfortunately, I found that the straps of the boot are square in fit, and are not in any way designed to curve around the area between the ankle and the top of the foot, to allow a proper, comfortable fit. I could get them to wrap around and securely attach to the Velcro on the other side because the straps would overlap each other. It just seems like a very lazy design, with no consideration of how the human body is put together. The bottom of the boot is wide and flat, with much more surface area than I needed for my foot, but I do understand that they need some flexibility there for different foot widths and sizes. The boot is lighter weight than a standard walking boot and does have a bit more breathability, but I just could not get it to fit comfortably enough and still feel it would securely protect my foot while sleeping with the poorly designed straps. For context, I’m 5’5 and 175 lbs. but my ankles are not heavy or thick. Maybe someone who has heavier or thicker ankles/feet would find the square straps more comfortable.

Comfortable night brace
The night brace is very comfortable. I now forget it’s on. Very easy to adjust.

Excellent tool
I was skeptical at first, didn’t sleep well for a couple of nights but omg it truly works. My plantar fasciitis was at a acute pain stage. I’m a very active person, and not being able to do my activities was pretty depressing. I’m still nursing it but the boot really helps and it took away the pain. I strongly suggest the boot. Plantar faciatis sufferers know that stretching is key to recovery and it takes time to heal. Invest, it’s worth it 👍(I’m just not sure how to wash it, it does say washable 🤷♀️)
