Inlet/outlet threads inconsistently milled and leaky.
I like the build quality up until I filled it with water. Its max rated pressure is 75psi, my mains supply is 55, so I thought what could go wrong? Well, the 1inch inlet and outlet leak and despite my using 12m of PTFE tape and 1/3 tube of Ls-x silicone thread sealer on either end I could not get it it to seal. It just weeps.I decided to swap the 1" to 15mm step-down adapting brassware to see if that helped, and low and behold one side is tighter than the other! So I replaced the brass at screwfix thinking it was the step down rings but the threads are milled to different sizes, fractionally, but enough to make one side leak more than the other.
