I am delighted with my purchase. I initially bought this for my son as we were in a boutique and a saw similar concept product and he was very drawn to it. The frames in the boutique were made from high quality wood and we’re in the $100 range. I wasn’t looking to spend that kind of money but did like the idea of watching sand flow through the glass. This product is priced very well and truly allows me to take a minute for myself and relax and just enjoy the flow. I am a very structured person and feel that watching the natural elements (in soothing colors) flow from top to bottom encourages relaxation. Each time you turn the frame, the sand particles will never be the same exact design so for that one minute it is also interesting to see the pattern formed. The frame is light blue on one side and I believe white on the other side which adds to the calming effect. I believe that I read in a couple of reviews that this type of device also encourages patience. If you are going to wait for every particle of sand to fall from the top to the bottom it will take approximately a minute so despite feeling stressed or overwhelmed it encourages patience by waiting for the last particle of sand fall. Given that I am one of those overwhelmed people due to the demands of life I am glad that it only takes a minute, however it is the gift of that minute I give myself to relax and enjoy this natural, calming, visual experience. This product was also boxed very nicely. I couldn’t ask for more at this price point.

I use this regularly. After my long days I find it very relaxing to was the sand flow differently every time and i think it's beautiful. Got blue sand for my son's birthday and I liked it so much I got purple sand for myself. Would definitely recommend if you need to soothe your mind and body at any time.

I bought this for my office since people come in and mess with all my stuff. This entertains the adults who come in and consistently flip it around. The only thing that makes me crazy is mine has a LOT of white sand and it tends to build up at the top or bottom only, so I don't get very dynamic pictures.

I have this on the counter in the kitchen. Every morning I enjoy my coffee, I also enjoy this sand art. It is very calming.It is also nice to have as conversation piece in there because as most know when guest are over they gather in the kitchen and so many have picked it up and they to enjoy it.I will be purchasing some for future gifts.

We had gotten this for our 4 year old, as a bedtime toy, to help him fall asleep. He loves watching the sand fall while he drifts off to sleep.

The ratios are wrong or something, so it usually gets stuck with half the sand above the bubbles. You have to keep hitting it to make an image.
