Urban Beach Hooded Towel for Kids, Character Beach Pool Wrap for Girls Boys, Shark, Blue

My kids are 5 and 7and much taller than average. This towel was a perfect size

I really like the idea of this towel. It's fancy, modern and useful. There is only one thing I would change- the length, could be 20cm longer to cover 9 year old bottom properly.It may be designed for younger children under 9 but the 140cm wide fabric will wrap young child around twice. My daughter just riches the hand pockets but still there is space for longer arms. Obviously younger child have shorter arms so will not rich the hand pockets on the top corners of this towel.I hope I didn't make it sound complicated. My point is just to make this towel longer for children 9-11 or keep the length as it is but make the wideness like 130cm for younger kids. Or maybe produce 2 sizes for younger kids and bigger kids?The shark hood fits 8-9 year old with cosy fitting.The fabric is lovely, soft and not to thin. Stitches are nicely done too, without loose threads.This towel definitely dries faster than common cotton towel so it will come in handy on the beach one day soon :)

When a child comes out of the sea, they are at their most vulnerable to harmful UV rays from the sun. Any sun lotion will have been washed off or severely weakened by the saltwater. Water droplets on the skin can amplify the sun’s rays as well.This novel towel could just be the answer. It has a built-in hood so the child can just pop it on their head and then wrap the towel over their shoulders. It’s made from microfibre towelling material which will not allow too much UV light to travel through it.It’s equally as good for use after swimming in a pool. It’s an easy way for the child to change out of their swim clothes as the hood keeps the towel in place.We went for the shark version but the unicorn one looks like it’s just as good. It adds a bit of fun for any kid. The towel is soft and dries very well.Overall, a novel and fun towel for any child. Hope that helps.

Lovely product at this price point (£12.99 July 2020). Given the times we are in, the towel has been used as an after-bath rather than beach towel and is so much fun - a brilliant way to dress-up as the shark in Disney’s ‘Finding Nemo’ and make bath times something to look out for :)The shark’s head is very well made with thick soft foam support for the fin. As for the size there is plenty of room for growth (would fit a 7-9 year-old fine). The stitching is very clean, and it is made out 100% polyester (which is not mentioned in the listing). Having said this, it is super absorbent!I washed it twice so far in the washing machine and it has come out just as new – no shrinking and no roughness. Happy to recommend.

This is is a super cute hooded beach towel, made of towelling type microfiber (not the smooth type of microfiber that seems to be really popular at the moment). The towelling effect makes it feel soft and cosy and the fabric is quite thick, especially around the hood which is padded in places around the shark's head. I got this for my 3.5 year old, who is approx 1m tall, and this reaches down to her toes. It is very wide with two little flaps you can put your hands in to wrap it around. There is plenty of towel here for your money and it is a generous size.The design of the towel is very cute and the shark's head is well made. This feels a good quality towel that is handy for the beach/swimming pool with lots of width for easy drying.

I absolutely love this fun shark poncho towel. The hood has a very comical, funny shark face with teeth and goes over your child’s head while the rest of the towel wraps around.We’ve given this a lot of use already down the beach and keeps my son warm after going in the sea. He is 6 and this is a good size for him. The towel itself is very soft feels quite light even when wet and dries quicker than regular towels.We’ve washed this a few times and it has held its shape and still feels soft and hasn’t shrunk or anything.Good quality fun towel, would recommend for shark lovers!

Love it - soft, cosy (the towelling is really thick, not thin and flimsy) and washes like a dream. Love the shark teeth hood, it’s hilarious. Soft blue too, not too primary bright.I’ve actually started using this when I wash my hair, I put the hood on and wrap the rest round my shoulders, my husband thinks I’m daft to sit there with a sharks head on while I let my hair dry but I like it.For £12.99 this is a good buy, especially as the quality of the towelling is so good.

This is a ideal beach towel for my six year old. Its huge, it covers him completely, with room. He loves the shark hood.It dries very well considering it is microfiber towel. I've used it at the beach a few times for my son but he loves it so we have ended up using it as a bath sheet towel for him.It washes well, its been washed a few times now and it has retained shape, colour and size. It has been air dried. It dries rather quickly.It looks well made, good quality material and well put together.
