This teen idol enjoyed his share of success on the pop charts, and this tidy 10-track collection brings together a host of favorites, including his 1961 Top Ten hits Goodbye Cruel World and Her Royal Majesty . It also includes Gidget; Angel Face; Punch and Judy; Conscience; Because They're Young; Mary's Little Lamb; I Ain't Sharin' Sharon and Hail to the Conquering Hero .

Beautiful voice
I have been a fan of James Darren and have always enjoyed his singing. This is a nice mixture of his songs. I really enjoyed this CD.

You will enjoy over and over
I bought this selection just for the title song. It is fun, easy to sing and enjoy. To my surprise I remembered a few of the others and there were a few I did not recognize. But , I have listened to this CD numerous times and really enjoy it each time. James Darren had a unique voice in that from song one Goodbye Cruel World to song number two Gidget you could not tell it was the same vocalist. In fact in one selection he sings in two different voice and it is really fun to listen to. A great buy and extremely entertaining

Goodbye Curel World, James Darren
This Cd is a fairly nice collection of the teenage heart throb years of "Moon-doggie". A fun glance back at the 50's - 60's. Nostalgic and fun......

Been looking for ages.
I bought this record as a single back in the sixties. As one did then, I lent it to a friend, and never got it back. I new the title of the song, but not the artist, so I e mailed the BBC (Brian Matthew) who told me it was James Darren. It was simple after that, as I typed his name into the Amazon web site, and the rest was history, as they say Another fantastic memory of the great 60's era.

Golden Oldies
Goodbye Cruel World was the first record I bought. I still have the old scratchy 45. I have not seen this track on cd before I am so pleased that this and other old tracks from James Darren are here.
