I really like this kit and the design. The only flaw is the smell - when it arrived it had a bit of a fishy or maybe old cardboard box odor. I ended up putting dryer sheets inside the package and then put a couple in the pillow and ran thru the dryer on air only setting for about 10 minutes. That actually worked just fine. So just a warning, do not expect to open it and get right to latch-hooking before doing this step.

This is a good project for I'd say about 11 and up...depending and skill level. Has a lined back w zipper so when you are done you can suff it to make as a pillow....my only complaint is the color coding...not so good...usually the coloring is imprinted on the pattern...this was but not correct coloring to match the yarn...they do have directions in the package showing what colors to use but that very inconvenient and really messes you up. A latch hook should have correct color coordination imprinted on pattern so you just grab your color yarn and hook away...I struggled with this.

Easy instructions. Fun project . A gift for myself.

1st row on left side ends half way down. Also short 2 rows which screws up entire design. Cheap thread which is different lengths,and has fuzz all over everything. Also unravels.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my 88 year old mother. It is easy to follow and the end result is gorgeous.

Pattern was crooked by 2 lines but I made it work. Would purchase again in the hopes that it was as one off.
