Moonbeam Mini Projector Solar Powered Nightlight, Green

We really really really wanted to get one of these that worked. I ordered this product three times hoping to get one that would work (two out of the three looked as if they had been taken out of the package prior to receiving them. So I was really crossing my fingers that I would get one that hadn't been tampered with.) Unfortunately tampered with or not, they are just poorly made. I would have been happy with this product if it would have worked just solely on batteries (although I was really excited about it's solar ability), no luck though. All three came on at dusk and then an hour later when it was even darker outside they would shut off and refuse to come back on for more than a minute or two.

Would not stick to the window or any other surface so it sits on a table. It's ok

The aaa rechargable battery was completely dead and would not ever charge so I replaced it and found the battery could not store enough energy to provide light for any decent length of time...

We were so excited to get this for our sons birthday, and my mother had purchased two for each of our children. The first night we used them they seemed to work ok, besides them arm coming loose on one. The second night they both kept shutting off, even on hybrid mode running off batteries. We took the cover off to see if a wire was loose, but it turns out they are just extremely cheap. Any movement of the battery wires causes the unit to malfunction, thus rendering it unusable. The idea is very good, but this unit is so poorly made I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If it works at first, it will not last long. We used them last night for the first time and we'll be shipping them back tomorrow.
