I love this small self gift. My friends do as well and ask if I brought it back from Japan. Highly recommend this sake set.

I gifted this set to my husband for his hot sake delights. We heat up our sake in a tea kettle and pour it into the carafe.Note of warning: the carafe does get very hot, where you can’t touch it barehanded, if you make hot sake. We use an oven mitt, but may be worth investing in a heat wrap or even just planning to serve cold sake with this set.Otherwise, it’s a beautiful and useful set. Very classy and durable.

I don’t like having to write to this review as this is such a beautiful set. Unfortunately, the box and the items themselves were not packed safely. The items themselves are in a box that does not have any solid padding or bubble wrap around each individual item. The only padding it had was this thin layer (Picture is attached of what the box looks like) Every item in the set has hairline cracks all over their surface. I can run my finger on the surface and I can feel them. I could be wrong...but I can see the hairline cracks getting stained over time.I’d request an exchange. But, I don’t want to risk possibly getting another set that has this issue. I’ll have to return these and stick with a different set from another manufacturer for now. In the future, I’d be open to purchasing from Happy Sales again if the items are packed safely. They definitely have beautiful sake sets.
