Meta Quest 2 Carrying Case

Coming from an original Oculus Quest I found the basic strap on the Quest 2 to be a massive step down. I simply can't get it comfortable and have to keep readjusting it and it also catches on my ears and irritates them too. If you're constantly have to fiddle with the headset during a game then it's breaking the immersion.It's clear that Facebook have reduced the cost of the headset to appeal to more people but have cut some corners to achieve this. They also charge a lot of money for the accessories, so this Elite strap is about £50 and the Oculus Link cable is about £90.This Elite strap does transform the Quest 2 into a more comfortable device and allows you to balance the weight a bit better. The headset itself is still heavy due to the battery etc. but this strap does help to negate that. The adjustment wheel on the back makes it much easier to adjust and less fiddly than the basic strap.It is perhaps a little expensive for what you actually get but it does improve the comfort significantly for me. The Oculus Quest 2 paired with this Elite Strap is still £50 cheaper than an original Oculus Quest was though.

After reading some reviews purchased this on sale to use for my quest 3. It fits perfectly with a bulky strap and both controllers and charger. Just need to figure out where to put the cricket bat now 🤔

Genuine case for oculus/meta quest. Fits snuggly inside. The zip can be temperamental and is quite delicate so needs to be used carefully.

I bought this more for the comfort of the strap rather than the battery (though the longer battery life makes a huge difference too). I have only had my Quest 2 a month or two but in that time I struggled to play for more than half an hour because of the throbbing headaches I'd get from having the headset strapped tightly to my face. With this elite strap, that issue has now gone. With the support at the back which moulds around your head and the dial to tighten or loosen the strap you can now easily have it sat snuggly around your head without being too tight, and no more headaches!I would say that this should really be part of the base headset. It's much sturdier than just the strap and the weight of it counterbalances the weight of the headset so it feels much less like it's pulling down on the front of your face. It's a little pricey for what it is but it does make a huge difference.

I bought this to extend the life of my quest 2.Replacing the original strap is really easy and this elite strap with battery just clips back in it's place.It's able to tighten enough to fit my 7 year old for the occasional go.It's adjustable on top to alter the height of the goggles and tightens on the back to make it more secure and stop any wobble.It is a little heavier that the standard strap but that's to be expected.The battery provides several more hours of use on a single charge.The battery plugs into the quest itself and provides pass though charging so you can charge the headset and elite battery at the same time with one cable.I found this strap still fits in my original quest 2 case without issue.I've read reviews of non official batteries and am glad I went with the official one.A great buy and I'm very happy with it.

Comfortable and easy to install, would definitely recommend.

This is a very tight fit so it doesn’t work with any of my third-party straps that I own. Quality is fine but given how poor the normal straps are, I can’t see this has been much use to anyone who’s using this with a headstrap that is actually functional.

Much better than the stock. I’m not sure why the strap and these don’t just come with the Quest 2 as they are 100% better!?!? Terrible for the consumer.

This provides a major comfort upgrade and makes the base device much more usable for my kids, girls, and wife. It adapts to small head sizes and is much less likely to slide off with longer hair.It is much easier to play extended games, or switch off with the additional battery storage

My 8 years old and 15 years old can quickly adjust the size with easy fasteners mechanism at the back of the head.

Bought a Meta Quest 2 Headset just over 1 1/2 weeks ago.Was looking for a carrying case to haul my Quest 2 & associated accessories.I came across this Meta Quest 2 carrying case here on Amazon.As soon as the case was delivered, I attempted to pack my Quest 2 headset (With the elite strap with battery on it), both touch controllers, charging cable & adapter (Both the cable and adapter are not in the photo),Everything fit perfectly and managed to zip the case closed without any issue.The case itself is a hard shelled case, with soft material on the outside and the oculus logo on it (Not sure why they did not switch the logo on the case to Meta. The quest 2 I purchased had the meta logo on it. Not a big deal in the end).If you are looking for a case for your quest 2 at a great price, then look no further.
