Great for pretend play.
I got these to give out to the kids for community helper day. I am a nurse and was invited to my daughters school to talk about being a nurse. I thought these would be great take home gifts for the kids. I added small tags with their names on it to make it even more cool. They were a big hit. The next day the parents came up to me and told me how much their kids really looooved their new stethoscope. They came individually wrapped and I found these a little more sturdy than the other brand I got.If you are looking to get one for professional everyday use, I would say not the best choice. Spend the extra money and get yourself a good quality brand like littmann. If for temporary use like a couple days then you will get by. It is hard to hear with these. You need to really press hard against the chest wall to hear heart sounds.

Covid essential
Glad these were available. Not using my regular stethoscope right now. I use one per shift and wipe it down before and after each use. Leave it hanging on an IV pole in the ED

Use these on Dog Doctor Costumes I make
I like these to add onto Dog Doctor Costumes I custom make. I use ribbon in 4-5 strategic places to hold it onto the costume & the ribbons can be undone for washing. Stethoscope is lightweight & I've had to cut it down in size a couple of times. Since it's just be used as a prop, this doesn't cause any problems.

Great for a kid's birthday party!
I am not in the medical field but I purchased these as party favors for my daughter's "doctor party" and the kids were SO excited to have a stethoscope that actually worked. They thought it was the coolest thing ever. Kids ages ranged from 3-6.

TERRIBLE QUALITY!! Can't hear a thing!
For the manufacturer to market this product for actual patient care is ridiculous! I ordered these for a lecture that I am giving elementary school students about the heart so that they could all listen to their own heart beats but I returned them because they were awful. My child's toy stethoscope works better than this waste of plastic. You are better off laying your ear on a patient's chest to hear their heart tones or breath sounds. If using this for an actual patient, the only thing that you could say definitively is that they still have a heartbeat, nothing more.

Disappointing
Very difficult to hear heart or lung sounds. Bonus is you get to throw it away after use.

works if you have good hearing
OK for hearing Heartbeat but not amplifying to a great degree. Works for teaching kids to count heartbeats on pets, or a cheap "spare" to keep at the farm or kennel for emergencies, but not a good medical diagnostic tool.
