Cleared lungs and SINUS INFECTION
I’ve had this device for six days. I’ve been using twice a day for 5+ minutes. At first, I wasn’t sure it was working. Fiddled with my posture (sit up, head very straight, device horizontal so the end angles away).I started coughing more and feeling more and feeling my asthma more. I added in albuterol before using this. Coughed even more and realized I was hacking up thick stuff I hadn’t been aware of. Meanwhile breathing and sleep both improved dramatically. Now my lungs are clear, but I’m continuing to use. Again, it’s been six days. The real surprise was my nose. I have terrible sinuses. I started having to blow my nose after using this device, when I was ok beforehand. Then, on day 4 and 5, it was like an eruption from my upper sinuses - I clearly had an old sinus infection without knowing it. It’s still clearing, but I feel air/temperature in my upper sinus cavity. This devise is shockingly good, even when it doesn’t feel like it’s working. Worth the money!

Does work for clearing lung blockage after you learn to use it right!
I have had mild to moderate asthma for years, rarely hospitalized or ER visits but it's still a factor in my daily life. Not one respiratory therapist or pulmonologist have mentioned this device and that's a tragedy. Took a bit to learn the technique, find the right ball and angle to hold it at, but now that I know how it does give a good deep "thump" into my lungs. Better than someone doing manual percussive therapy on my back for sure.Instead of reaching for the rescue to open me up after getting out of bed, before a workout, after being around allergens, I reach for this instead. Usually can move enough junk out to get back 30-60 L/min on my home peak flow tester without any medicine at all!I wish it was better designed to break down and fold up for travel, and maybe use some kind of reed or resistance band instead of a heavy ball. Filter system and mouthpiece are a pain and poorly designed and come apart way too early, but I also don't get a good oscillation without that length of tube installed...

Interesting item.
Rather difficult to figure out how to use it. It does what it says it does though.

Didn’t really work for me
Based on the reviews, I had high expectations for this device. There are plenty of other ones out there in the marketplace, but this one seem to have the best value for the money. For me personally I just did not see the results that other reviewer‘s were having.

Well made plastic lung expansion device.
Since I am now in my 11th year as caregiver to my Mom, I had to give up lap swimming then my dog died, and I became unmotivated to walk. When I don't swim regularly, I get painful air pockets in my chest. With my allergies, I have even felt some nodules deflate after sneezing. Fortunately re-inflation occurs rapidly, so I only feel a quick pain prick when it occurs. I decided to purchase this to help me get back in to deep breathing, so when I do return to swimming, my arm strokes will be synchronized with my breathing allowing me to get in to shape much more quickly. Right now I can't even move the smallest ball! I hope it also keeps those painful air pockets from occurring when I am exposed to cold air. as well. It looks well made, light weight, with good instructions.

Be careful when using
Purchased this because my support group recommended it. I have to admit I was able to get the mucus up immediately but by day three I had horrible lung pain. The pain was so bad I had to go on steroids to get back to my baseline. This ordeal lasted 6 weeks and was extremely painful. I would warn people to talk to your doctor about getting one before you buy it. Then if the doctor says yes, then take it slow and read all the directions and warnings. I won’t be using mine again. The other negative is you get 3 filters but then you have to purchase the filters and they are expensive. I think they are $1 a piece and you can only use it once. You could try soaking it in alcohol to disinfect. I will go back to using my flutter valve for now. So If you purchase this, do your homework and research this device but first ask your doctor for permission. It could help or it could hurt you like it did me.

Understanding the difference between Asthma, Bronchitis, Covid 19 and simply COPD
I have asthma and bronchitis and I'll tell you the difference shortly. This device doesn't really help Asthma that much since your airways isn't plugged up by mucus and phlegm. However it does give you a goal of blowing out your air and that by itself helps you breath better with asthma but doesn't relieve your asthma attacks. Asthma attacks are usually caused by allergies that causes airways inflammation and thus this device doesn't alivate that particular problem but as mention that just blowing out gives you a goal of handling an asthma attack. In the last few years now just before the onset of covid, my airways got infected possibly by aspiration (breathing in stomach acid from acid reflex). My first bout lasted 6 months and on and off through the covid years making me think that I caught covid as the symptoms are very similar; basically my lungs are filled with phelgm and is really different from asthma. With asthma I cannot breath because my airways are inflamed like someone squeezing a straw and you try to breath through the squeezed straw. With Bronchitis and infection your lungs are filled with phlegm and here is the main difference is that you can still breath normally but your lungs doesn't process the air because it is covered with phelgm and this is a really scary feeling because you start to do rapid breathing and you just cannot get enough air; basically you are drowning. This is how covid or pneumonia will kill you. Bronchitis can lead to pneumonia which is your lungs filled with fluid. This is where this device will help you. When I first got this device it didn't seem to work. Thumping my chest seems to work better. However I think I was confusing my asthma with bronchitis and depending which one is currently affecting you, this device may not work. However over time I started to recognize the times that I need this device. I can feel the phlegm in my airways but I cannot cough it out. This is the time that I will use the device and after a bunch of blowing. You blow until the very end of your breath making sure that the ball is vibrating through your open airway and down your throat into your chest. It is like playing an instrument letting the vibrations of the device vibrate into your chest. Cough after the blows to see if your phlegm has loosened. Then take a deep breath and blow again letting that vibrations run down into your chest. After owning this device for a year now I have found it to relieve my Bronchitis and clearing out my phlegm. I am definitely allergic to something in my apartment. It could be a mold or perhaps I have bed mites, or perhaps from all the dust in my apartment. All I know is that it seems that I have COPD which is Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Currently I am not taking any medicine for my Asthma or Bronchitis but I do have two Dyson Air purifier running 24/7 and when my Bronchitis with phlegm starts acting up, I use this device to clear out some of the phlegm. if you have a lot of phelgm perhaps from bronchitis or covid, this device will help. For asthma, not so much but it does make you breath out so you can breath in. So I hope this explanation helps you.

Missing parts
Instructions weren’t that great/thorough. Needs to show how to put together and take apart. Also it doesn’t work and was missing the different size balls. Box looked tampered with even though it just came. Not impressed

Undecided
The instructions for putting it together are extremely poor.
