Unusual for Guetta
I love David Guetta!I went to see him in Brighton not too long ago and he was immense! Having said that, this is a dissapointing pressentation from the world class DJ. Only a few tracks offer something unique, after that it's quite run of the mill, and many of which can be found on Ministry of Sounds Clubbers guide, which is too pop like and mainstream. Dont' get me wrong, it is good, and i do listen to it regularly, but i did expect more originality from the big man!

Music and mix: 5 / Sound quality: 1
The tunes on this mix couldn't be any fresher. It runs rings around all other commercial house compilations this summer. If you like your tunes intense and banging, this makes a welcome break from the minimal side of things.BUT, the whole mix is put through a time-stretcher and audibly warbles/flutters all the way through which absolutely ruins it once you've noticed (sorry, lol). I can't believe it went through mastering like this and no one noticed. You can really hear it on the quiet breakdowns, where the attack gets missed off every other drum sound, so it loses timing...

What The F***
This is definately a disappointing release from David Guettta. I am a fan of his music and have loved all of his recent releases so I found with great surprise that this was just not my cup of tea at all. The first CD is the worst with A MIX OF SIRENS AND ALARM noises that have totally ruined many of the songs on here. The only song worth mentioning on the first Cd is Delirious by David Guetta which is a brilliant and lightens the mood but then goes downhill again with The One by Sharam with Daniel Bedingfield which is a great song that has been totally ruined on here, the only relief is when the chorus plays when Daniel Bedingfield sings and then inbetween its mixture of noise that only a deaf person could appreciate. The 2nd CD is alright but sounds exactly the same as Hed Kandi Ibiza mix or the very similar Ministry of Sound Ibiza Annual 2008 using the same tracks and thus there is nothing that marks this with David Guettas original style. Stay away from this the alarm bells will be ringing as soon as you play this if you do decide to purchase and you'll be running for the hills.
