Great bag
Love this bag. Looks great, feels very durable and sturdy. I've bought other bags like this for way cheaper and they fell apart after a little bit. This one has been way better. Comfortable to wear around. Have not used it with a hydration pack yet but I fit a 2L in with no issues to test it. Straps are sturdy and mounted a bottle carrier on the side, nice tight fit.Update: 2 years in and the bag is still going strong. Put a 3L hydration pack in multiple times and it fit great. I've taken it on 2 cross country trips and walked a ton of miles ans it holds everything I need and is comfortable. Added on a water bottle holder on the side as well.

Don't be shocked by the very small size on arrival
I opened the box and was dismayed at how tiny this pack was. It looked like a toddler pack! But once I expanded it, it holds a good amount. As an ER doc, I am using this as a go-pack for my disaster relief. I find I can stuff everything I need to be able to resuscitate a patient in the field. I would be surprised if it fit an average sized male...I am 5/4" and about 140 lb and it feels almost to short waisted for me. But then again I am used to larger backpacks for hiking. I have never used Maxpedition but am very impressed with the quality and design. The detail parallels my more expensive back country packs and gear. I think it will last a long time. My only comment would be I wish there were a little padding in the waist belt [though not critical since this pack will not be very heavy], and a little more ability to adjust the shoulder harness. For women, the chest strap can be removed and replaced depending on bust size [though not easily].

This is a fantastic backpack
We loaded this out for my wife's GHB. It is extremely well made using quality materials. I would highly suggest one if you plan to make a Get Home Bag, or for most any other use other than a three day bag. It's a bit too small for that.

Great pack
Maxpedition stuff is higher priced but it’s legit. Lots of accessories, good construction. You will get tired of looking at it before it wears out.

Decent
Good little bag. It's not huge by any means. Wish some of the pockets had organizers like elastic or slots to keep stuff in place. Otherwise the conceal carry pocket is really nice and easily accessible and the hook and loop secures whatever holsters I've tried. Definitely durable and high quality as always from maxpedition. Worth noting I paid $85 for this bag "used" and it came brand new. Cheers

Best pack I’ve ever had
I bought this pack for work… it’s kind of a get home bag slash work bag…. It works out perfect.. It has plenty of room for a few things I might need in a bad situation like a small IFAK, flash light, extra batteries, a few hours worth of food, bivvy and an extra knife… There’s also room for my work stuff like PPE and an extra work shirt. The layout is pretty good and the nylon is supreme! This bag is pretty much water repellent. I’m sure if you fell in a river your stuff might get a little wet but rain is not gonna be a problem … I’ve literally walked into work in pouring down rain and everything stays nice and dry. The zippers are pretty stiff but keep everything out … it’s the best made pack I’ve ever had and it’s held up very well so far… Maxpedition makes a durable product from what I can see. The lower outside pocket is a little hard to get into with one hand because it is so close to the upper pouch but other than that I have no complaints … It wears comfortably on my back and even with all the stuff I have in it it doesn’t appear to be over packed… Lots of molly webbing too… I can honestly say that when I go out of town for the weekend there’s plenty of room for me to pack it out with clothes and toiletries and still have room for the survival stuff that always stays in it … love my maxpedition so far

Really Nice backpack a little small
Great day pack edc bag but small. If this pack was 4 inches taller abs 3 inches wider I would say it’s the best back pack ever…for my needs. Workmanship gets 5 Stars. The look is great . One thing I might do is add a compression insert for bottom of the bag.

Lots of attachment options however it is a small bag so don’t expect to fit a lot
