Pretty good
Looks nice when said and done. Lots of swearing trying to get the hood guard to line up to the holes all the while having to push in the visor to get the screws to in. I'm pretty handy, this thing is irritating. I'd try another brand. For the money this one is pretty OK, maybe even good.

Not bad for the money but....
It was tough to get this guard to fit my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. I could never get all five holes to line up right. Initially, I tried installing the guard from the outside holes and working to the inside, but the inside holes did not line up. So I restarted by fastening the center and working laterally. By doing this I got the three middle screws to line up, but the two outside screws did not line up. So we took a hair dryer to it and after a little bit of cussing we got the outside screws to tighten down. Upon ensuring that all five screws were tight we noticed the the center screw had pulled through with the expander still attached. We retried to tighten it down but to no avail.Pro:Looks really good on the truckNo glue or new holesSeems to be made of good materialStiff ridged material requires no foam bumpersReasonably pricedEven with only 4 screws the guard is firmly attached (about 500 miles with it on at speeds up to 80mph+)Cons:Seems to be a 1/8" off from the middle three holes to the outer two holesThe little expanders are junkThe screws could be longerThe lip on the expanders should be longer to hook better into the guard betterNeed to send extra screws, washers, and expanders for when you drop one and it disappears in the driveway.I'd bet money that no man could install this guard by themselves! It's a great looking guard... Just a pain to put on but I might of had a lemon. I'd be interested in trying to install other types of guards to see if they are any easier. Not sure how it's going to hold up in the car wash but we shall see...

Nice Shield, BUT...
Installed with no trouble at all. The main thing about the installation is to remember to get the white plastic rectangular tabs to insert into the slot on the shield so when you tighten the screws, the inserts can't spin in their hole. The part that bothers me about the install is that the shield goes under the factory rubber strip. This makes a thicker seal and therefore closing the hood is difficult. I guess in time the rubber will compress and the hood will close easier but time will tell. I've watched a youtube video where they completely removed and discarded the rubber strip, that made closing the hood easier but I think you need that rubber to keep water and debris out of the engine compartment. Not bad but... they could have made it better. maybe put a thin rubber gasket on the bottom of the bug shield so you can remove the factory rubber making a little more room to close the hood.

ATTENTION BUYERS!! Please read this before attempting to install.
Looks and fits great but very difficult to install if u dont follow my instructions. This is my 2nd shield. The first broke in half after 3 years d/t improper install. Like others I had much difficulty installing 5 years ago with assist of stepson. This time I got it right and only took 10 minutes by myself instead of 1 1/2 hours of cussing. Pop in all plastic mollies into holes WITH TABS HORIZONTAL to align with HORIZONTAL slits in shield. No pliers are required if u do it this way. Position shield. Begin in center screw. Shove towel between shield and hood as shown in pic. This will force shield forward and also will pop underside into place thereby holding plastic HORIZONTAL Molly into HORIZONTAL slit in shield. U will hear it click in place. Now screw in screw but not overtight. Now continue outwards on each side. Took me 10 minutes BY MY SELF. I feel as if I could install these as a pro. I felt it essential that I leave these instructions to help others. First time I installed it was difficult to shut hood. This time hood shuts fine. That's why shield broke..d/t improper install and hood impacting on shield. This bolt on shield is far superior to the stick on type. Those tend to blow off while going 80 down interstate...pulling paint off with them.

Looks good, but forget installing it.....
2014 Silverado. The shield is not molded exact to the hood, close but no cigar as they say. The plastic inserts will pull out when trying to get all of them attached. The reason is the tension from the hood guard pulls them out because it is not molded well to fit the hood. I even removed the entire rubber molding to see if it would line up and nope, still about impossible. I suppose you might be able to get all five screws into the inserts but going down the road with some vibration, wind and the inherit tension from the deflector and pop, out they will come. Its a shame because it looks nice and basically a good idea, but the accuracy of the mold to the hood is off resulting in a very very difficult install and the potential, if you get it installed, for it to pull itself out over time.I have requested a refund. I don't want to use tape applied product, so not sure if something else is out there that will work.. For me, this one will not, and I wouldn't trust it to hold.

Great product, difficult install
Looks great. Uses existing holes and slides under the hood seal. Other brands use atrocious double sided tape on top a $50k hood. Instructions are simple, BUT as other have stated, it's a huge pain to install. The spacers lined up with all but one slot on the deflector. Used a small pair of diagonal wire cutters to enlarge slot in deflector and finally got it installed. I'll install a couple clear bump stops at ends of deflector to protect hood from possible flexing in wind.

Was a little disappointed that it did not completely wrap around the front ...
Definitely a two person install. Was a little disappointed that it did not completely wrap around the front of my truck. But the hood protector works and looks great.

Great product no tape or drilling
This shield looks great and love that it is secured by screws which required no drilling or adhesive tape, it's not the easiest to put on it took 2 attempts and about an hour and a half.

Cheap plastic
The protector is folding back against the hood and now I have to put some cloth under the corners so it doesn't scratch my hood. I will be taking it off to prevent damage to my truck.
