The Three Little Pigs (Reading Railroad) by Marshall, James (2000) Paperback

My son went through a phase of wanting to see this show nonstop. It has been nearly a year and he still enjoys it and I think he gets different things from it now that he's older and starting to understand phonics. It's a great learning show and the catch phrases are easy to remember and fun (like... when we want to know something we look... in a book!). Highly recommend it for toddlers. He started watching at 2 and now at 3 he still enjoys it and pulls these books out. There's also an iPhone app for this show that is very good. We have several of the stories and we like them all.

My grandson loves super why

Have a gradson that LOVES Super WHY- he was SO excited to receive this as a Christmas gift! Grandma and Grandpa scored! Interesting re-do's of the old fairy tales we grew up with.

Like others have stated if your kids like super why they they will like these books. I bought several of these in the series and my kids love singing the jingle from the show as it I read it in the book. The pull out flaps work great but can be torn easily if your little one isn't careful. The books are written after different episodes and follow the episode very closely. My only gripe about these books is that the text is very small, I'm in my 30's and if the lighting isn't good I have a hard time reading them. It gets worse when I'm tired and trying to read after a long day. Other than that they are a hit with the kids.

Not many people know about Super WHY. This is a great introduction to the characters and will get your child hooked.

If your kids like Super Why then they would love this book. It is arranged just like the TV show with some of the familiar catch lines. It is loosely based off the original story of the three little pigs. The Super Readers are solving a problem and they use the book to find the answer. All four super heroes use their special gifts to solve the problem. You even find super letters in the story, too. I say "Hip Hip Hooray!" to this book.

My daughter sees the TV show off and on and the books do the show justice. The catch phrases are all there. The morals of the story are the same and the way that the book uses flip ups is creative. I do not recommend this book for kids who may tear the flip up pages off though. That would greatly diminish the value of the book.

The book came with food all over the back of it . It should have at least been wiped off.

Great book. Interactive. Flip the page options keep the children interested throughout the entire book. REally good depiction of a superwhy episode

My son, aged 3 has all the Super Why books, and I can not recommend them enough. Each story has three pull out pages featuring the characters which helps with the alphabet, letters and word recognition. I think all pre-school children will benefit from these stories and will enjoy them greatly.

おなじみの３匹のこぶたのお話です。絵本についた箱の中には３匹のこぶたとそれぞれのお家にオオカミの型抜き人形が入っています。小さな子供も絵本と一緒！と喜んで人形を動かしてみています。絵本と箱が一体なのと、箱の中に人形が収納し難いのがちょっと残念。

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter who enjoys watching Super Why on TV. She seemed to enjoy the story well enough, but I think she will get more out of it when she's a little older and learning to read and write properly.
