Looking for Walmart's Danskin Now Straightleg Pant?
Well, I was. And I searched and searched. Who can tell the difference online between all these black yoga pants? If you have been searching for Walmart's old Danskin Now Straight Leg Pant, this Spalding pant is probably the closest you are going to find at similar cost. So let's get into it - Danskin vs. this Spalding slim fit:The Danskin is composed of 90% cotton/10% spandex vs Spalding's 92% Cotton/8% Spandex. Neither are see-through in day light or during the bend-over-forward-with-white underwear-test. That said, Danskin is slightly thicker, which may be a plus during cold weather if you are running around doing errands, but I personally avoid wearing the Danskin one during the summer because it feels heavy and is too warm. The Spalding one, however, feels lighter and I can see myself wearing this then. The Danskin one has a small pocket in the wide belt area in the back. This one does not. For me, this pocket is irrelevant. The leg fit is the same on both - straight leg with no flare. The Danskin has sporty seams on outer sides of the hip/butt area, this one does not, giving it a simple pant behind. Also worthy of noting for your point of reference in terms of sizing, the spalding one fits smaller. I wouldn't necessarily say there is a full size difference, maybe like half a size. My walmart one was a medium and I really should have gotten a small. The medium was loose in the thigh area but i still loved it and wore it with equally baggy (yet stylish) looking athleisurewear on flights. Based on the reviews here, they said the spalding one fits slimmer (tighter/smaller), and it is true. So knowing that, I purchased the Spalding medium and it fits perfect. It is not loose but not sausage tight. No looseness on the thighs unlike the Danskin. Just a fitting, slim straight leg with breathing room. But if you like that tight fitted look, I guess go down a size. Also, in terms of length, I have noticed the Danskin one shrunk in length a good inch or so over the course of washes. The spalding one will arrive an inch or so longer, and I am hoping the length will also shrink.I have yet to see. Hope this helps.

PERFECT FIT!
Very comfortable pants! I am 5’5 and the size L fit well all around and the length is perfect not too long just pass my ankles, it doesn’t drag on the ground which means it is not too long (I tried it on without shoes) - I measured the pants inseam and it is approximately 31” (unwashed) and the width of the bottom end is approximately 8.5” wide (21.59 cm) measured laid flat - it’s not straight leg but not quiet boot cut either - for me it’s a perfect width - just right.I purchased a Champion style like this before and that lasted a few years for me until just recently the material began thinning and ripping slowly apart (due to heating from the dryer and of course I’ve had it for a few years - used it for yoga, gym workouts and walking, so I had to get a new one and this one turned out perfect. It also depends on your body measurements of how it’s going to fit - for me the L was not gripping tight but fitted and comfortable on the top half and slightly loose on the bottom half of the legs.I am going to purchase more since they fit well and the price is excellent! The Champion style cost more than this so that’s the reason I didn’t purchase it.

Just okay
I must not have read carefully the description of these yoga pants being slim fit. They are definitely not designed for women with curves--tight through the hips and butt with obvious panty lines. I won't be wearing these out of the house, that's for sure. But they are otherwise true to size.As for the pants themselves, they're okay. The cotton stretch fabric is comfy, but fairly thin (though not see through, at least not in charcoal). The elastic is fairly narrow, which may lead to issues down the road with rolling waistband, but no problems yet. The waist fits at the waist; I usually prefer a hipster cut.I wouldn't have purchased them had I seen them/tried them on in advance, but there's nothing particularly wrong with them, especially if you have a fairly straight build.

Complement pants
I had an old pair of these and just discovered the wonderfulness of tights and or leggings… my original pair didn’t have the flare at the bottom but got a tiny hole in the knee after about six years (so I thought if they last that long I need a new pair so I searched for the same brand)…Found these and splurged … For me anyway, i’m slightly frugal… haaaOK so not only were they totally worth the money but…. Now, I don’t have much confidence guys, but these look good on me.I can tell because…can I just tell you guys that my husband is a big fan!!I slipped these on and he walked in a few minutes later and picked me up and said you’re so tiny! Guys, I’m not!! LolBut i’ll totally take that complement. So to sum it up… my last pair lasted six years and only has a tiny hole in the knee, they feel amazing and flattened my tummy, and I’ve gotten the best compliment I’ve had in months a few minutes after putting them on. Haaaaaa*Five stars highly recommend*

Decent
I am 5'8'', 135 lb. waist 27'', hips 38''. I got the Medium. These seemed like pretty good; they were reasonably thick and didn't show the color of my underwear when I bent over. I have thighs & butt that are more thick and these fit well in M, not very tight but stayed on fine. I probably could have gone with the small but then they might've been a bit tight depending on how different the sizes are. These are not really "slim fit" they are more of a boot cut, just not flared. They drop straight down from the knees.I like a 33 or 34'' inseam. These were a tad too short, only by like an inch or two; I like pants that come a bit over my shoes, like covering the laces but not dragging on the ground, and these fell just to the top of my shoes. But I think if I take out the hem, and they don't shrink in the wash, they'll be fine.Overall a decent buy. I will keep them but try to take down the hem.

Comfortable and professional!
I am very impressed with these pants! I like that they're high waisted and stretchy but also slimming (which helps to hide my love handles) lol. They can be worn just around the house or can pass as a professional pant too (depending on profession). I have worn them to work tucked inside below-the-knee-boots and I have worn them with a 3 inch heel and they looked amazing! I have also found they are not a magnet for hair and lint which is a super bonus for me! I wanted to wait until I had washed them before writing a review and they didn't shrink or wrinkle! I'll definitely be ordering a couple extra pairs!

Light weight and comfortable
These pants fit well, they are not too tight and have a good amount of stretch and are very comfortable. I would definitely recommend and am considering purchasing a second pair.
