Best of Verne: An Antarctic Mystery: Illustrated Classic

Excellent reprint from Seawolf
Really nice edition. Seawolf is the best!I ended up getting a copy of Edgar Allen Poe's novel The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket, as An Antarctic Mystery is Verne's sequel to Poe's only novel. Verne does give a good 10-page summary of Narrative within the book, but I was glad I'd read it in full before proceeding. I would definitely recommend doing the same.

SeaWolf Press edition is the one to get.
SeaWolf does amazing work in producing affordable editions of classics that look nice and come from earlier or first editions. Their Verne sets have been very well done as far as accuracy, fonts, et cetera. The book is fantastic and well presented as always. Verne is a true genius, and one of the shining examples of creativity. This might be a lesser work, but it's definitely worth your time. I can't really find to many faults in these editions. They are quite well presented for a fair price. Start with a few of the others, and then gradually work your way to this one.
