This cast iron cooking set is perfect for daily cooking needs. I cook several meals that require oven cooking, the cast iron set is the only choice that makes sense.I also make bread, the cast iron Dutch oven cooking the bread to perfection. Easy to clean. These pans and pots will develop rust, just wash with light soap and warm water, apply salt and scrub away the rust then apply a light coat of oil (olive oil or canola will work) then bake for 15 minutes in oven to seal and your done.Highly recommend!

I purchased this set as my first cast iron skillet set. It took me a few uses to get accustomed to cooking with cast iron. I can definitely see how people are burning their food using these skillets.There are a few things you need to do to ensure you maintain these skillets. First, you should season this set. They come pre-seasoned, but that is not enough. Research how to preseason cast iron skillets. It takes about 45mins and it will ensure you skillet set forms a durable non-stick surface.It's important to wash, dry, and lightly oil these skillets soon after each use. Lightly oiling these skillets prevents rusting while in storage. I was surprised at how easily stuck-on food washes off. This is due to me pre-seasoning this set as mentioned above.For cooking, I recommend turning the fire down and cooking things slower until you get a good feel for this set. Cast iron distributes heat more evenly and better than other skillets, so cooking on high can and will burn your food fast if you're not watching closely.If you follow these recommendations, you will love this set and it should last you a lifetime.What I like:- Price- Durability- Quality- Includes silicon handle covers (very nice!)What I dislike:- Slight learning curve needed to ensure proper care of set.- Slight learning curve needed to ensure food is cooked properly.

My son is so happy with this set . He can't wait to use it camping . Worth the cost . He likes the different sizes and he really enjoys cooking with it on the stove . The rack that came with it means no digging in the cupboard looking for a lid or the right pan . Highly recommend it for home and camping

Don’t like that you have to season the pans every use but the pans are awesome!

They are nice and deep. Good and heavy. Better than I'd expected. The only negative is that they don't seem to be cured. If they are, it's No Bueno. (My opinion). Otherwise, don't hesitate, good quality.

I am first time user of the cast iron pots and pans. I saw deal and ordered this one. It is sturdy and nice looking and perfect size. ONly problem I have is how can I stop rusting in the pans not using. I seasoned them well oil them well but still rusting is not stopping.

Very good product, however one of the lids was damaged. Not sure what to do, as I don’t want to return the entire set.

This deal is amazing. Much better/ cheaper than buying each piece from a store!

i bought this as a gift for my mom and shes in love with this. as for the price it was the cheapest i can find.
