Superior Tool Riser Removal Tool,1/2 & 3/4 in,Steel

It looks like this is made of a lightweight aluminum so I'm not sure how long this will last, but regardless - it worked great for me! I had a 3/4 inch PVC fitting snap while tightening on my pool sweep pump, connection, leaving the threaded end embedded in the water intake line. I was very worried because it was stuck in a PVC riser that was only 4 inches from the concrete, so I didn't have a lot of options to cut/replace the riser itself. Yay! Using this tool it came right out. Note: it also has a hex fitting on the socket end in case you would prefer using a wrench instead of the supplied T bar.

Easy to use.

On 2nd use, the top of the T-handle broke from the shaft.

I bought this in the hopes of using it to remove a jetski cable retaining nut that had broken in the stern of the ski. The sleeved knut was plastic and the head had broken leaving the threaded sleeve in the alloy transom. Unfortunately this tool could not get a good enough bite to loosen the plastic sleeve. I think this would have worked in most instances, but not on my 15 year old corroded jetski. I think this tool will come in handy and will be added to my set of easy-outs. Good tool!

I found that the handle is too short for getting to some of my inserts. Without enlarging the upper hole it is impossible use.When I was able to use it, it worked as advertised and pulled the insert out quickly.
