Work with my 2017 HP Spectre X360 15" that came with a 90w adapter
I picked up a new 2017 HP Spectre X360 with the 15" 4k screen, and I always buy two additional power adapters for any laptop, one that stays home permanently where it gets plugged in after I return home near my couch, one that stays in my office where it sits on my stand, and then I leave the one that comes with it in my laptop bag.My concern was that these are half the wattage of the original - it came with a 90w brick, but you can't, at least as of May 2017, find any, even on HP's site. So they sell a laptop they don't even sell extra power bricks for.Others talked about how they used this though, and while it charges slower, it worked fine, and for the two places I actually NEED the extras, it is generally powered anyway, so I don't care if they charge slower or not - it usually is just maintaining a constant charge level anyway at the office or home. And I have the 90w in my bag for at client sites when I'm more likely to be on battery for extended periods of time and will be topping off.I like the right angle plug for the USB C connector, less likely to get broken off as the ones that go straight out. The cable from the adapter to the outlet is a shorter one, which I wanted, less cord to bundle up and hide.No warnings from my laptop, as soon as I plugged it in, it showed it on AC power again, so I know it's working fine. For the price, can't complain at all.

Worked OK.... for 32 days.
Went dead 2 days after the 30-day return window closed. Also, was not the same form factor as the one in the product photo. Nevertheless, I ordered another one, specifically because of the "FREE ONE DAY" shipping and I was desperate for an adaptor. Despite the one-day free shipping promise, shipping took over ten days. Which means that when this adaptor croaks next week (as I suspect it will), it will be a couple of days beyond the return window.Although the second one has not yet died, it is a subpar performer. It BARELY charges. The OEM HP adaptor that I originally had for my laptop charged fully within about 30 minutes. With this adaptor, the laptop was plugged in all night and still, at 3:30pm (about 18 hrs later), it is only 43% charged. It is SO bad that when it is plugged in, ostensibly charging, but out of juice, there is not enough charge to keep the laptop running. I have to turn it off, plug it in and leave it for a couple of hours before it is sufficiently charged to turn on. (My laptop is only 3 mos. old, an HP Spectre x360 15t).I suspect this product is counterfeit, not official HP OEM. Run, don't walk away from this one.

Misleading ad and packaging
The adapter that came with my new HP laptop broke after less than 6 months of use. In addition, the port on the laptop seemed like it was not holding the adapter cord in securely. I felt this was due to tha angle and the way it hung out of the port. I bought this adapter specifically because of the angle hoping that the way the cord was attached would prevent the jiggling issue. However, the angle was NOT what was advertised. I honestly have never seen true HP packaging that was so far off from the contents. I don’t believe this is a true HP product. It did charge my laptop and it actually exists, which qualifies it for 2 stars. However, I am returning it.

Works great for HP Elite X2
Just wanted to note that this adapter works perfectly with the HP Elite X2 1012 model in addition to the Spectre. It is different than the included Elite X2 adapter though. This adapter is a fixed USB-C cable output and pluggable power cord input to the power brick, which uses an industry standard "C5" female connector for the power source, or more specifically the IEC 320 C5 connector often referred to as the 'Mickey Mouse' connector due to its look being similar. The included cable with the compatible C6 male connector is not particularly long, so if you need more distance, you can buy any cable with a C6 end on it of the desired length. The normal Elite X2 adapter, which this is not, has a replaceable plug on the power brick itself, like an Apple MacBook adapter if you're familiar with that; this is where the power brick itself can have power outlet blades attached to plug directly into the wall, or have a power cord attached; so if you want to plug the brick directly into the wall, this adapter won't do that.

Good adapter but had a straight USB C connector
I was happy when I received the adapter and it seems to work fine but I am disappointed that the USB C connector is not the 90 degree connection shown in the picture (it is a straight USB C connector); I did notice on the box included some small print stating "contents may not match product pictured" but I could not find mention of this anywhere in the literature/descriptions available prior to purchase. While there may be difference between product pictures and what goes in the box, I do believe that when the product provided has functional difference the sales collateral should match the product. This difference is not purely aesthetic as it impacts how the power cable can be run to the power port; if you are interested in this adapter because of the 90 degree USB C connection, that may not be what you receive.

Great extra power supply
I have extra charger/power chords for all my electronics, so I naturally ordered this the same day I bought my new lap top. I like that I was able to find a HP brand name charger so I didn't have to worry about compatibility and this one was at a reasonable price compared to all the off brand "who knows if you can trust them" manufacturers. It seems to be working well. The power box stays relatively cool while chagrining. It does get barely warm to the touch, but you should expect some. There is a bit of juice flowing through after all. It charges my HP Spectre X360 13t from near empty to fully charged in less than three hours. It is a little larger than the charger that came with the laptop but I like the fact that the wall cord and the charger come apart, it give a little more flexibility when packing it away. It is a great convenience to have one power supply I can leave plugged into my docking station and one that I can keep in the laptop case.
