I would not be able to keep up with my kitty’s feeding schedule without this!I work a crazy rotating swing shift and this has been a life saver for keeping my kitty on track with her feeding schedule and portions.All I have to do is put in the portions, set the timers and go!The only thing I have to watch out for are the power blips (I don’t really use the battery function and keep it plugged near her water fountain). But even then, she’ll still get her food, just not at the times I set because when the clock is interrupted, so are the timers. But if the food is in there, she’ll still get fed. It works well, I haven’t had any issues. It’s sturdy and doesn’t slide all over the place, it’s easy to clean and water resistant. It’s a no-brainer assembly and holds five portions which is great for me since I’m away from home for long periods of time. The fact that I can record my voice calling her to her meal is icing on the cake! When she hears that, she stops whatever she’s doing and runs to the feeder and it’s so adorable! And it gives me piece of mind to know the feeder is working as it should and she’s staying on schedule! Awesome product! Would recommend and I’m probably going to get another one!

My Australian Shepherd developed a condition where she would vomit bile if not fed quite frequently, meaning we could no longer rely on "waiting for dinner" and it was affecting our life and how we organized getting home, etc. I researched many products, and put my money down on this one.This feeder has 5 1 cup "bowls" - 4 which are inaccessible when you put the feeder out. It also has 4 programmable times, and a voice recorder that can play your message to call the dog to eat. It came with instructions, and I learned how to use it quickly.Our Australian Shepherd quickly learned that this machine would give her food. Although she was curious about it at first and pawed at it, she's never been destructive with it, though physically, she is big enough to sabotage it (flip it over, etc.) if she wanted to.We use it for wet food and it works fine. The inside can go in the dishwasher, and I wash the cover and machine by hand.If anything - given the size of my pet, I could have used bigger bowls. For a while, I put half a meal for one time and half a meal for 1 hour later. But sometimes I found she hadn't eaten the first half before it turned and offered the second half. So now I just max out one of the bowls and don't have a second time so that it stays accessible until I get home. She has always found the food that way. I also need to put the machine at the end of the house where she sleeps rather than the end of the house where she usually eats because I found Mrs. Snoozalot wasn't hearing the call to dinner that far away. I suppose there will be as many quirks as there are pet personalities.

This feeder has saved us so many times, we love it. My only complaint is that I didn't get one with ice packs or a cooling mechanism, as canned food gets moldy quickly. But it's easy to use, easy to clean and definitely does the job.

I have only used it twice, but the cat that needs it has taken a real shine to it. This morning, I watched him hightail it into the kitchen when he heard it come on. This is even before my recording called him lol. Once I learned the correct military time, it was not complicated to set. I did have to raise it by putting it on top of the box it arrived in to make it easier for my cat to eat out of the compartments. It’s easy to clean. The first time I used it, my cat did not wake me up to feed him. I am hopeful this feeder will keep him satisfied until I wake up on my own. The wet food was fine and I didn’t have to put ice packs on top. I just made sure it had plenty of gravy to keep it moist. My other cat doesn’t jump on me to wake me up when he’s hungry, so I don’t think I will need to buy a second one. I can well understand how this feeder can save your sanity. Update! Saddled with a nasty case of the flu this week and this feeder has been a lifesaver! I set it and sought some badly needed sleep without worry that my cat will wake me up for food. He loves this feeder as it has a positive association in his mind. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Feeder works just as advertised. Very easy to set up times for feeds. Will recommend this product to my friends with pets.

I was really looking forward to getting this automatic feeder for my cat who has been sick and we have been back and forth to the vet for almost a year. It started with elevated liver enzymes in December 2022, then steroid induced diabetes and then constipation. The constipation finally resolved after 4 months when I changed his diet to human grade whole foods. He has been eating from Honest Kitchen. This was a huge improvement except now that he only eats this wet food, I am constantly refilling his bowl every 3 hours around the clock, including throughout the night. I seriously have not slept in almost a year.I was hoping this automatic feeder would change that and was really looking forward to a good sleep again.I get the package today and immediately put the batteries in, set up the times and filled it with food and then the top would NOT go back on. The instructions say to align the tabs with the 2 slots in the back of the machine but they would not line up and I tried everything to get the thing to close. It would not close. I finally took 2 ice packs and a heavy book to put on top of it to hold the top down.Then I watch as it approached the first feeding time. They tray did not completely rotate and you see two slots stuck halfway. I had to push it manually into the correct position so he could eat the food.I am returning this feeder due to multiple defects. I am still not sleeping tonight and will look for another one from somewhere else to replace it.

Easy to use, works well. Have had and used twice a day for about 3 years now and still works great. Cat hasn’t broken into it but she will reach her paw up the dispenser hole to dig out food, but gives up after a while. Would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted something easy to set up and sleek looking. You can set the current time, the time you want it to feed, up to five different meals (or shut off a meal - I have 3 set on), and you can control portion size. A “portion” is about 10 pieces of kibble, so for each meal you can decide how many portions will go (up to 40 portions). You can set different portions for each meal. The instructions to set it up are super straight forward (read them!) and it worked perfectly right away.

So far mor than a year using this to feed my dear dog. Works pretty well also with the batteries. Some times touch buttons needs more pressure but then works fine.

Originally got this to keep our young kitty Miss Hades (was 9 months old) from waking me up around 4AM daily while resorting to tactics such as licking inside of my nose; chewing on the $70 charger+chord and purring at maximum volume to get her fed before “passing into shadows from starvation”Our older kitty Mr. Rose ( in the video) has benefited greatly from the feeder as well. Since little kitten he cannot help but eat until he’s full aka 🤮 and would resort to crying and begging all day for more treats and food.Both cats learned pretty quickly that mom no longer has control over the food and now wait by the machine and/or rocket down the stairs when they hear the kibbles clinking into the bowl. There’s less begging, better food intake regulation. Sometimes he eats her portion as well when she’s not interested but she then almost always eats his 5AM portion and few kibbles from other meals if he’s not there to eat and she’s extra hungry but over the course of the day they both get about the perfect amount of food. While the little tray rotates to dispense the servings from compartments a few kibbles may get stuck but it’s not a big deal as Mr. Rose knows how to “free” them (as per video) 🤣I used the dental kibbles which are quite big in comparison to most other kibbles and the dispenser is able to fit them and rotate the tray just fine.Calculating the portions wasn’t too difficult; worked with the instructions and the feeding recommendations on the kibble bag.The lid click locks which is a must for cats like Mr. Rose who know how to push lids open to reach their beloved food.

I did a lot of research over time for automatic pet feeders and read a lot of reviews before I decided on this one. I feel this one got the most good reviews and checked all the boxes.The shape/size where the food comes out of makes it harder for cats to stick their paws into compared to other units I’ve seen.The bowl is stainless steel which was important to me for hygienic reasons as well as being removable/easy to clean.The programming setup was very simple once you get the hang of it. The hardest part was getting the large D batteries into their slot (sold separately).It comes with the USB cord plus the wall plugin piece which I’ve read other units on the market only come with USB cord.The unit locks after 3 minutes so there’s no chance your pet can accidentally adjust the programming which I was worried about since the buttons are on the front.I didn’t attempt to use the voice recording I feel it’s a nuisance esp if I’m sleeping when it goes off.The overall look is very nice and love that the lid could be securely closed by turning it into place.Once the batteries and food are in, plus the non slip rubber at the bottom, it makes the unit pretty sturdy.For the cost compared to the ease it adds to your life I’d say it’s worth it. To be determined on the longevity of the unit.
